We will be providing a CPX Data Decoder program which will show you all of your decoded data as well as forward those packets to us at Cal Poly. I will be sending out another email in a few days regarding how to download the program. Also to note, we will be in the IRC chatroom at 'irc.freenode.org' in the 'cubesat' room before, during, and after the launch. Thanks! [amsat-bb] Re: Cal Poly's CP6 Satellite Launching May 5th
All, yes it is a real challenge - but I heard many beacons from CP4 long time ago (sometimes in 5-minutes interval !) The most important thing is to listen to CW header (6 seconds) - in this time you can adjust the frequency and catch the packet burst. I hope it's the same like CP4 A running spectrum analyzer software is very helpful. So you can quickly adjust the frequency to the right value. Some older CP4 reports on my website http://www.dk3wn.info/sat/afu/sat_cp.shtml It's in German but I think you can understand the way I went. Another way is to record the beacon and then analyze the burst with MixW. There is an CUSTOM AFSK mode. Keep my fingers crossed and best 73, Mike DK3WN -Ursprüngliche Nachricht- Von: amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org [mailto:amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org] Im Auftrag von Bill Ress Gesendet: Sonntag, 3.
