[amsat-bb] Re: PrisonSat
The satellite uses the file while in the payload bay as a backup to the primary release system. Apparently, there isn't any early release granted to them so it might be the only way out. I guess that gives a whole new meaning to self-deployment or in this case, self-extraction. :) 73, Jeff WB3JFS - Original Message - From: Ted k7trkra...@charter.net To: 'Jeff Yanko' wb3...@cox.net; amsat-bb@amsat.org Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2012 5:18 PM Subject: RE: [amsat-bb] PrisonSat No Jeff, but each sat has a small metal file built in somewhere 73, Ted, K7TRK -Original Message- From: amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org [mailto:amsat-bb-boun...@amsat.org] On Behalf Of Jeff Yanko Sent: Thursday, December 06, 2012 5:00 PM To: amsat-bb@amsat.org Subject: [amsat-bb] PrisonSat Geez, I hope this doesn't mean we have to start committing crimes to get our dreams built. http://usnews.nbcnews.com/_news/2012/12/06/15730738-san-quentin-inmates-buil ding-satellite-hardware-for-nasa?lite 73, Jeff WB3JFS ___ Sent via AMSAT-BB@amsat.org. don't forget that instead of a microsoft key for the operating system, there is a handcuff key embedded in the kernel. 73...bruce On 12/6/2012 7:26 PM, Jeff Yanko wrote: The satellite uses the file while in the payload bay as a backup to the primary release system.
