[android-beginners] tablerow mixed with columns and multiline text

I am trying to have a tablelayout contains several tablerows. One of the
rows contains 4 buttons, while the second row contains a very long text.
However, the width of the button stretches with the text in the second row.
Is there anyway to prevent this?

[android-beginners] How to open web pages from emulator anyway?

Android 2.1. Browser cannot open Google.com.

I searched this problem online, which now I believe is not a wi-fi
connection issue. My PC does not have a proxy and connects to the router
using wireless. I doubt this is the reason why the wikitionary demo didn't
work.

Any thoughts?

[android-beginners] Failed to Create From Sample Project

I sucessfully configured and tested the HelloAndroid project using
Eclipse 3.5. But the application wikitionary failed. I created this
application by using creating from existing samples option. The
application compiled, and I was able to added to the home screen, but
it failed after showing Loading word of day..., with an exception
message The application Wikitionary example (process
com.example.android.wikitionary) has stopped unexcepectedly. Please
try again.

My android version is 2.1.

After Installing Android 2.0 + Google API level 5,
I couldn't find Google Map icon on the desktop even I started emulator with 
Google API level 5 AVD.

it doesn't work. i have tried it. the devcie can be identified by
system as usb mass storage though.

1500 mAh on the galaxy vs 1150 mAh, and AMOLED saves more energy,  you
can judge.  it's OK for using but not for develop, when the adb can be
used.

i got this new mobilephone this week in Germany, wanted to debug my
program on the device. but it doesn't work, c:\ adb devices lists
no device attached, though i have tried to change the
android_usb.inf in order to install the usb driver from SDK.
