Rafa, Just a thought - I have seen iPhone apps that use a little trick to help out with this: Have the user place his finger on the screen at some location, say 0,0 for example purposes. Draw a crosshair at like 0,30, and actually use that as the drawing location. The point is that your finger is no longer in the way of where you are drawing, so it becomes slightly easier to draw in tight corners.
