[android-developers] High CPU usage on Android Studio 2.0 Emulator

Hi,

I can see the effort and improvement made for Android Studio 2.0 - the 
emulator is running faster now then before.

However, the CPU is very high when running the emulator, my macbook 
temperature goes to 73 celcius now an I am afraid any damage could happen 
due to overheat.

[android-developers] Android Studio 2, AVD landscape mode not working (not rotate)

When I switch to landscape mode the emulator rotates the screen to 
landscape orientation but the Android OS and none of the apps rotate. I am 
using Ubuntu 14.04 LTS, but with Windows 10 it works correctly. It is a bug 
in Ubuntu 14.04?

[android-developers] Android N: How to handle Background Services When The Mobile is in Data Saver Mode

I am working on making my app compatible to android N. I have some services 
which runs in background and they needs to interact with mobile network. So 
if the mobile is in data saver mode according to android N all the 
background applications will not get network accessibility. Is there any 
way to handle this situation?

Your Activity object is destroyed and then recreated on a rotation. This 
means that all your *new* Activity's fields have been set to 0/false/null 
again.
Read the documentation about the `onSaveInstanceState(...)` method and how 
this stores data in the `savedInstanceState` parameter of the onCreate(...).

Well I have a same problem and no one seems to know what is going on.. 
Google themselves dont even know how to update samples with their stupid 
updates for sdks.. I implemented the camera into my app but once you stop 
recording the video it saves the file with 0 bytes and that's all.. Have no 
idea why it is happening or how to change anything.. Blame google for this 
poor documentation.

It depends on the option you choose when creating your New Project.The newer version of the wizard will offer you several app options. I just updated my android studio to 2.0. I just imported setting from my 
previous version 1.5. 

Now its 30 minutes over it shows me "Gradle project sync in progress .." 
How can i solve this problem...

· Experience in understanding open source and vendor vulnerability
assessment tools. NO hands on experience necessary

[android-developers] Concept of building a multiview phone application

Hi everyone!

I want to develop an application, where header and footer are shown on each 
"page", but the content in the middle is changing like some views. In the 
footer I would have 5 buttons for example, where I can switch between those 
views. So for example on view has the list of the items, the second view is 
the cart for the shop, the third one is the item detail etc. And each 
button in the footer should be marked depending on which page (view) is 
shown at the moment.
I can make 5 different activities but then I need to make the footer five 
times, only with some background changes. I assume (hope)that this is not 
the solution.
Since I am really beginner and this is my first application, I would ask 
you if you can clearify that for me.

Есть приложение на двух платформах Andoid и iOS.
Хочу реализовать возможность приглашения с Andoid на iOS, но не знаю как 
это сделать.
вот что есть в описание:
