The head of the New Business Innovations Group needs to bring on a
UI/Front-End developer on a contract basis for a 3 month + project that

and will ultimately bring to life the ideas the head of NBIG. They will

Hello friends -

Long time java developer here with plenty of experience in the Eclipse
arena, server side stuff mostly with j2ee.

Anyways, I inherited an application from a guy that literally went out for
a cigarette after lunch and never came back. I've got the source project
from his workstation and working .apks from tablet devices.

When I look in the .apk that runs on the tablet, all I have is .html and
.js pages. Cordova is referenced in several places.

I decided to try to come up to speed on the newest tools and brought his
project folder up in Android Studio. I'm seeing several of the .js and
.html files that arrive in the .sdk.

Curiously, I see a bunch of java files, which won't compile due to missing
dependencies. The jars they want just aren't in the resources lib on his
machine. I download 'em and attach them, and I get compilation and further
in the build process.

But I'm trying to figure out why I have java files at all. To what end?

Also, I'm a bit lost as to how the .apk that got published wound up with a
bunch of cordova/.../../.js files in it.

Any help for the new idiot would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

[android-developers] Assist please... Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A SM G906S

Can somebody help me please... I recently bought a used S5 LTE-A X3 to use in 
Nigeria. It only shows 3G and not H+ or H. I upgraded it online to android 
6.0.1 Marshmallow but still the same thing. 
I understand it may be due to my phone not configured to operate on same 
network band as my service provider in Nigeria here. 
I also understand that the problem can be overcome. Can someone kindly assist 
me on how to solve this dilemma as i am totally new to this.

[android-developers] Did A Factory Reset On My Phone And Now I Can't Access My Existing Google Account

Hi,
My phone LCD was broken.so i took it to a local service center to fix it.
The service guy asked me to give if any mobile lock (pattern or password)
so that he can check if phone is working once he repairs.I gave him and
later when i reached my home ,i realized my phone was not reset and so,
once he repairs ,he can easily check my pictures and other things.Hence i
tried to reset my phone through my gmail by using Android Device Manager.It
showed me a message "your phone could not be located"..i thought i will
change gmail password at least so that no one can access my phone . Well,i
changed my gmail password.I got my phone back now .It says "the device was
reset. To continue ,sign in with the google account that was previously
synced on this device"I gave my gmail id and new password and it was still
not logging in..I thought may be i am giving wrong password and clicked on
"forgot password" after entering email id in my phone.So i changed my
password in gmail again (second time) and tried to login.Still it is not
letting go inside the phone .Please help me out..!!!

[android-developers] Android N multi window mode

Hello,

Currently, the way for entering in multi-window mode in Android N that I 
have tried as below:

(1.) If the user opens the Overview screen and performs a long press on an 
activity title, they can drag that activity to a highlighted portion of the 
screen to put the activity in multi-window mode.
(2.) If the user performs a long press on the Overview button, the device 
puts the current activity in multi-window mode, and opens the Overview 
screen to let the user choose another activity to share the screen.

But, is any way programmatically enter multi-window mode in Android N 

?
