• Solid experience in Business Intelligence domain and solutions is a must.

• Most have solid knowledge of SQL. Understanding of Excel/Access VBA and
Macros, Data Modeling and Statistical analysis is highly desirable.

• Experience with EDW (Enterprise Data Warehouse) is highly preferred.

My app used to work fine up until Nougat turned on all the SELinux 
restrictions. All access to /sys is now blocked.

This is ok, i have rearchitected my app to avoid using /sys when quering 
usb information. However there is no way to query for the device speed 
anymore.

My 
app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.virtualhere.androidserver 
used to open /sys/bus/usb/devices/xxx-xx/speed and got a string in response.

Could you add an api like

USBDeviceConnection.GetSpeed() and it returns the value in this file e.g

1.5
12
480
5000

etc. This value is useful because some USB requests need to be simulated 
(e.g isochronous device data) like portStatus bits and these require 
knowing the device speed

If your app handles personal or sensitive user data (including personally
identifiable information, financial and payment information, authentication
information, phonebook or contact data, microphone and camera sensor data,
and sensitive device data) then your app must:

Post a privacy policy in both the designated field in the Play Developer
Console and from within the Play distributed app itself.
Handle the user data securely, including transmitting it using modern
cryptography (for example, over HTTPS).

The privacy policy must, together with any in-app disclosures,
comprehensively disclose how your app collects, uses and shares user data,
including the types of parties with whom it’s shared.

Prominent Disclosure Requirement

If your app collects and transmits personal or sensitive user data
unrelated to functionality described prominently in the app’s listing on
Google Play or in the app interface, then prior to the collection and
transmission, it must prominently highlight how the user data will be used
and have the user provide affirmative consent for such use.

Here are some examples of common violations:

An app that doesn’t treat a user’s inventory of installed apps as personal
or sensitive user data and doesn’t comply with the Privacy Policy, Secure
Transmission, and Prominent Disclosure requirements.
An app that doesn’t treat a user’s phone or contact book data as personal
or sensitive user data and doesn’t comply with the Privacy Policy, Secure
Transmission, and Prominent Disclosure requirements.

We are using users phone number and email id and can share lately on other
user. What we should implement in app so that we can fulfill all
requirement related to personal and sensitive information. We are using
HTTPS for transferring data to server including encryption. Should we show
any popup to user that we are using your phone number and emailId.

Please let me know what should we do to update latest version on play store.

Let me supply more information.

The data transmission rate is near 1000Hz, and the baud rate I used is 
115200.

[android-developers] Wierd behaviour about bluetooth on Android

Dear all,

I am doing a project about receiving ecg signal from a ecg sensor.
At first I am successfully connect the ecg sensor with a bluetooth
transmitter using arduino and connect a bluetooth dongle to my PC using USB
port.
I use processing to write a program in pc to receive the data from arduino
which output the ecg signal through bluetooth, and the received data in my
PC is what I expected.

However, when I tried to write a android app to receive the bluetooth data,
I found that there is some data loss, and the received is not the same as
what I received in my PC.

Why is that? Is there any differences between android bluetooth and
bluetooth dongle in PC?

I have found that if I use android to receive the ecg data through
bluetooth, the android will receive several ecg data in one packet, but it
is not the case if I use PC to receive the bluetooth data.

My devices:

1) Arduino + ecg sensor + bluetooth transmitter.
2) PC + bluetooth dongle (connected using USB port)
3) Android

1) + 2) can produce what I want, but 1) + 3) cannot.

Therefore, I wonder why android receive bluetooth differently from PC with
bluetooth dongle.
