[android-developers] Just a simple settings App
Hi everyone, I am looking to build a very simple settings app, with 3 'pages' (ie Settings 1, Settings 2, Settings 3) that connects to mysql. I do not know Java, and am kicking myself trying to figure out even the most simple items! Does anyone know of a simple interface that I can use, or a project template that I can just edit the fields for? Any help would be extremely appreciated! FYI, the Gail team closed this provider a while ago so this solution is no longer valid, you can't read the emails from any Gmail content provider. They have, however created a small, limited API to let you read how many unread emails there are. Go SMS is aborting the SMS_RECEIVED broadcast. Why does the Android OS let them do this? Shouldn't the Android OS prevent apps from aborting system broadcasts? [android-developers] Do You Want To Create An Application Icon?
I am sorry if this is the wrong thing to do, I am a newbie. I am writing my first app and I was wondering if there were any graphic designers out there who would want to create an icon for my app. My app will be / is called Droid Notify and it's a basic app that will display a pop up notification on the screen for incoming text messages, missed calls and perhaps calendar appointments. I am writing this app as an open source app on code.google. Let me know if anyone is interested. I was thinking of the Android Robot (green) with a bullhorn, or something along those lines.
