Now I would like to know WHY.

The Reason for Removal was Dangerous Product.

The app is the free Theif Face Trap Mini, or TFTM, with
 id=com.terboel.tftm

For those who would have a look at it, it can still be found at various
places, e.g. at the 1Mobile Market.

Yep...the panel at the bottom w/ the Camera button. I thought Google said

It's a weird UI pattern. Almost seems to conflict w/ the other UI pattern
where the softkeys (back/home/etc.) hide when you're viewing content.
Scroll down and the camera panel shows up...touch the bottom of the screen
and the softkeys show up. It works fine if your device has hardkeys for
the home button like a Galaxy S3, but doesn't work well on the N7.
There's even a library for it named AndroidSlidingUpPanel.

 Hello ptit!

 straightforward.

 Hi everyone,

sorry if this topic has been discussed before, I didn't find a
 definitive answer.
I am developing a game with Google Play Game capabilities (leaderboards
  achievements).
I implemented Google+ sign-in, following the tutorial and the provided
 code examples.

Everything is working fine, but the problem I am currently facing
 occurs in the following scenario,
at least on an Android 2.2 device :

- I have two Google accounts, both of them are declared and syncing
on my device
- I start my game, and a dialog (of my own) asks me whether I want
to use Google Play Game capabilities,
and therefore if I want to sign in to Google+
- I click 'Yes' and my code starts calling the Google+ sign-in API
- Android Google+ API kicks in and asks me to choose one of my two
accounts to sign in

What I'd like for my future players is allow them to do this once, and
never bother to sign in again (if they
allow it, of course). Is there a way to tell the Google+ API to use one
account in particular and use it to
 sign in automatically ?
I can understand that a completely silent sign-in can be a privacy
concern, but is there a way to store
which account was used and use it later ?

 Thanks

myEditText.setOnKeyListener() does not get called when the backspace is

Re: [android-developers] Re: How to support Bluetooth optionally?

2013-04-15 Thread Douglas Drumond
No, you don't change uses-permission to uses-feature, you use both.
uses-permission is required to access bluetooth, or you'll get an error.
When you use uses-permission, it's assumed the feature is also required.
Then you use the tag uses-feature and set the attribute required to false.
So you have permission to use the feature if it's present, but you're also
stating your app can function without it.

Thanks for the help! I have read through this twice and still very
confused - why do we have both uses-permission and uses-feature? So I
changed from uses-permission to uses-feature and it will work? But why?

My free game has been downloaded couple of million times so I am very
scared of causing issues for existing users.

 So it is:

 uses-permission android:name=android.permission.BLUETOOTH_ADMIN /

 uses-feature android:name=android.hardware.bluetooth android:required=
 false /

Is there a real common approach that Android people use for source control?

Or is it largely fragmented among the popular options like git,
 Subversion, and Mercurial?

Should Google create a service (maybe called *Google Safe*) for us to
 stick our code?

 Thanks.

Thank you very much for your response.

I am giving a brief idea about my problem:
In my android application I used *TelephonyManager* to listen *
 PhoneState(Idle/Ringing/Offhook) *and identified whether any
incoming/outgoing call is initiated. If initiated, I used *intent* to *
 startActivity **MyCallActivity *to handle call.
Now *MyCallActivity *has been launched but it does not appear on screen
because android system's default PHONE app appears on screen. I want to
know that how can we fix that every time* MyCallActivity *comes on
foreground (on screen) in place of default PHONE app.

Android App Mobile Accessibility does the same. How can i do it?
