• Implements and maintains the multiple SAP instances that comprise the SAP
environment (development, test, training and production).
• Maintains the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP
Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and
development objects are promoted properly.
• Introduces technical changes into the environment using a structured
approach that minimizes risk and achieves high reliability, availability
and performance of each SAP instance.
• Designs and implements an optimal SAP configuration to maximize system
performance and availability.
• Installs and configures all required SAP database servers and application
servers.
• Manages System security , security patching and security hardening of
systems
• Configures and manages the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances.
• Maintains SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.
• Monitors all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short
dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.).
• Administers the HANA database.
• Liason with vendor for creating incidents and escalation of
issues/problems

• Experienced level, typically 5-7 years of experience.

When the message is posted to Google websites, the HTTP response
contain the ID which is always unique. Also, the uniqueness seems to
be before the %c. Take a look at the ID I got today then what I got
yesterday.

What is the use of the ID that is returned? I am assuming this is some
kind of a message id that is used by Google to identify each message.

I am not able to receive the messages from cloud even though I receive
200. Is there a place where I can check what happened to the messages?
Is it possible to query the status of these messages using the ID
given?

I am trying to build a test app for C2DM message.

Here is what I've
Registration:
package name: myapp.test
published on the market: no
contact email: my gmail account (all emails are same, lets say

Phone:
I've signed up to sync google account (in fact with the email account
I've registered x...@gmail.com)
I am using the google package for C2DM. So, i am using the registered
gmail account x...@gmail.com in the C2DMBaseReceiver.java.
When I run my app, I get the registration id at C2DMReciever.java.
I've the following set in my AndroidManifest.xml:

After some more research, i decided to collect the GoogleLogin auth
from the phone and send it to the application server which sends C2DM
message.

However, in order to do that, I've to ask for the user's credentials
in my app. Is it possible to get the credentials of the default
registered user on the phone programmatically and get the auth token?

I am writing the third party application server part of the C2DM
messages. I've signed up and have the following:
sender_id = my...@abc.com
application_id = mycompany.test

Using the above two pieces of information I can register on the mobile
and can send the registration id to my application sever. Now, to send
a message to the device through google server 
https://android.clients.google.com/c2dm/send
I have the data for parameters: registration_id, data, etc.

My question is how do I get the client login auth information
(GoogleLogin auth) that is needed in the header? Should the mobile
application collect user information and get the login auth
information on the phone and send it to the third party server? Or
should the mobile application user send the Google credentials to the
third party server and the server stores it? Or is there any other
way?

Also, what should be in the collapse_key?

[android-developers] How to get Android Source code?

I am having trouble with one of the phones. It is using Version 2.1 -
update 1. I would like to download the source code to check that.
However, I am on Windows platform, so I cannot use GIT. Is there any
other way to download/browse the code for this particular release? I
could not find this version under android.git.kernel.org. Any
pointers?

[android-developers] bluetooth erratic behavior

We use bluetooth SPP profile to transfer data. Lately, what I see is
erratic behavior in the throughput. this happens both on nexus one and
Droid. Is anyone else experiencing? Are there any tools to investigate
or debug why so?

[android-developers] Bluetooth unstable connection

In our app, we want to connect to the SPP on a bluetooth device using
the BluetoothDevice createRfcommSocketToServiceRecord fmethod. It used
to work. Suddenly, we started seeing that the connection to bluetooth
is intermittent. From the API perspective, the connection is all
blackbox. Is there a way to find out what handshaking messages have
been exchanged between the bluetooth device and the phone. When we
look at the sniffer logs from the bluetooth device, it looks like it
is waiting for the phone to get back.

We are testing it on NexusOne. Are there any known issues?

[android-developers] Context menu on Video View

I've a Video View displayed on the UI. The Video View seems to be
working fine. But, I want to use Context Menu on that. For ex: I would
like to pause it if the user makes a long press. I registered the
ContextMenu in the activity onCreate as follows:

onCreate (...)
{
...
this.myVideo = (VideoView) findViewById(R.id.video);
registerForContextMenu(this.myVideo);

...
}

When code is executed no error is logged. However, the
onCreateContextMenu is not getting called.

menu.add(0, PAUSE_PLAY, 0, Pause play);


Neither on long press the menu does not show up.

Is Context Menu is supported only for ListView?

[android-developers] How do I recieve broadcast action in an Activity?

Can I receive a broadcast event in an activity? I've seen this done in
broadcast receivers but not in an activity. In particular I would like
to receive an event when a bluetooth device is found.
ACTION_DISCOVERY_FINISHED.

Do I need to declare that in the activity intent filters? Should I be
using permissions for that? How do I define the callback to handle
that in the activity when i get receive the action? Any code example
would be helpful.
