Always sim cards have a phone number so if yo want to retrieve your phone number you have to make a call to the telephone phone provider and thus obtain the number ... for example in my country i may obtain my phone number with *#595# and when i call that number i obtain my phone number. However this is not a universal number so if u want your app to run in other countries then u will be in trouble. But there must be another way to obtain that number.
