[android-developers] Android Developer Console leading to 403 error

2016-04-05 Thread Nicolas Ritz
(cross post from Google Play Help Forum)

When I visit https://play.google.com/apps/publish I get automatically
redirected to https://play.google.com/apps/publish/?dev_acc=
( being a long string of numbers I do not want to list here).
But this results into an Error 403 error with "We're sorry, but you do not
have access to this page. That’s all we know.".

Any idea how I could solve this?

I don't think you tried very hard. Two simple searches for google play

[android-developers] Android Developer Console Issue - cannot finish registration

2012-09-16 Thread Panpanisca Android developer
I'm trying to finish my Android developer registration on the Developer
Console, but it looks as though the payment part is broken.
When I reach the point of paying the $25 fee, I am transfered to a Google
Wallet page stating that:

https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-QDQHDLGcdys/UFWkKGIm3CI/AAM/HIL_AWGQn6I/s1600/Screen+Shot+2012-09-16+at+13.01.50+.png
As there is no other method for paying the fee, I have no other option.

I tried finding a way to report the error to Google, but couldn't find one.

Any idea?

Thanks!

[android-developers] Android Developer Console: Pricing Apps

2012-08-06 Thread Carl K.
I have never really cared in detail, even though I'm using it for a while...

After reading the documentation for Pricing Apps for Selling Apps in
Multiple Currencies
(http://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/bin/answer.py?hl=enanswer=1169947topic=15867ctx=topic),
I'm still unsure if I understand it correctly. Here some excerpts:

[...] When an app is uploaded to Google Play, you will be asked
to set a default price for the app in your home currency. This price
will be used for all countries/regions which you do not manually
 override.

In my understanding, this means that the default price is used for countries
that you don't (can't) specify the price manually (as it says..)

Second paragraph:

For each country that you wish sell your app in, check the box next to
that country and enter a price. You cannot target a particular country
without entering a price. [...] The autofill conversion uses the daily
exchange rate on the day that you set the price; it does not float.

a) If an app should be sold in a specific country, its box requires to be
checked and set (if a text element is there).
b) The price in that specific country should not float.

Is my understanding so far correct? In b), the price (target currency) DOES
float ... sometimes, at least. And the original currency does change too at the
same time. So, I am very confused.

Additional Question: For countries that do not have this currency text-element,
will the price be automatically set to their currency on save? I guess, it does
(should) not float either.

Kind Regards,
Carl

[android-developers] Android Developer console not updating

2011-04-28 Thread AI Factory
It is a source of frustration that the Android market Console is
erratic in its updating. For example one of our apps has seen no
updates for download counts for 10 days now, but is rapidly climbing
the charts, so is clearly doing well. The new statistics button
provided shows the downloads are happening as it lists download totals
for multiple successive days that proves that the main tabulated
summary is way out-of-date. So Android clearly do have these figures
at hand, as the stats prove, but the logged tabulated totals somehow
do not get these.

This is common to all our apps, but usually more typically with a 2 to
4 days when updates do not happen. This is an annoying impediment for
our product tracking.

I'm looking for a place to effectively complain about this!

I assume that others are seeing the same thing?

[android-developers] Android Developer Console and the Market - Several Issues

2009-02-15 Thread Koush

The Android Developer Console doesn't allow me to unpublish my
previously published applications. I thought it may be a browser/
javascript issue, but I tried several browsers with no luck.

In addition, the applications I've published that are not free do not
show up on the Market.
