Role :DevOps Engineer Location: New York ,NY Duration: 12+ months Contract: C2c Required Skills: Possess a Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field. 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or equivalent software-engineering role. Proven experience of software-automation production systems and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Bamboo). Proven experience working with Kubernetes container tools (OpenShift, Docker) Expertise in code deployment and configuration management tools (Puppet, Ansible, and Chef). Experience creating a continuous delivery pipeline and automating the release management for software applications. Programming experience with Java, .Net, or Python. Experience working with Eclipse, RAD or equivalent IDE. Knowledge of network, server, and application-status monitoring. Able to demonstrate knowledge in software development methodologies. Experience with Git and GitHub ,process and systems re-engineering. Possess a working knowledge of databases and SQL (Structured Query Language). Possess a problem-solving attitude and proven troubleshooting experience. Ability to work independently or as part of a highly mobile team and also to thrive in a fast paced environment and able to manage competing priorities. Experience scaling CI/CD pipelines across multiple applications and agile teams. Capable of defining best DevOps tools/methodologies and building an informed audience on how to leverage those tools/methodologies.
