To get the location through an app you the location services. Please
refer to this:
http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/location/index.html#location
and return if it fails.

I regards to "track any mobile number location" I have found the only
reliable way is to call the number and ask for their current location.

Re: [android-developers] How to get phone current location

2013-06-19 Thread Michael Banzon
(language issues aside)

No. If the only thing you have is a phone number - there is no way for
you (not a network operator/NSA) to know the location. Please do
consider that "the location of a phone number" implies a great deal of
things that isn't really that smart. First thing that comes to mind is
call forwarding when phones are turned off - along with "virtual
numbers"/PBX.

If you want to make an Android app that uses the built in GPS and/or
location services: Yes - it is very much possible. You should be able
to find (almost) everything you need with the link I provided.
Searching for "android location services example" using your favourite
search engine should also give you plenty of stuff to work with.
