[android-developers] Marketplace behavior when version is wrong.
All - I am wondering how the marketplace handles a specific situation. Assume I write an app that is for 2.1 and up. I then put a market:// link on my web page that advertises the app. A user with a version lower than 2.1 comes to my web page and clicks the link, which in turn causes the marketplace to open up and try to find the app. What does the user see? Are they just told the app isn't found? Are they told it isn't supported on their version of Android? Or do they get some other error? Has anyone tried this? (I know I could publish a quick 'Hello World' app and find out, but I figured I would ask first. ;) Thanks! -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Android Developers" group.
