*Skills Required:*

   - Minimum 5 years of development experience
   - *Minimum 5 years of experience working with source control systems,
   (GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Microsoft team Foundation Server/Azure
   DevOps Server)*
   - Minimum 5 years of experience working with Jenkins, Azure DevOps,
   Gitlab CI or relevant technologies
   - Minimum 2 years of experience of systems engineering expertise, with
   knowledge of hardware, networking, software, applications, cloud and system
   engineering
   - Minimum 2 years of experience of supporting DevOps practices
   - Minimum 2 years of experience of public cloud experience (AWS or Azure)
   - Minimum 2 years of experience with configuration management tools such
   as Puppet, Chef or Ansible
   - Hands-on experience with provision tools such as Terraform
   - Minimum 2 years of experience in security engineering or DevSecOps
   working with Azure, GCP, VMware private cloud technology
   - Experience with networks including Vnets, DNS, VPN, route tables,
   gateways, firewalls, VNet peering, traffic inspection, service endpoints,
   private endpoints
   - Deep understanding of security requirements, best practices, and
   execution in various cloud implementation scenarios: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS
   - Experience with automation, deployment orchestration, and security
   configuration management with Terraform, Chef, Puppet, YAML, JSON,
   Powershell, BASH, Go or Python
   - Experience with API’s and 3rd Party Integrations with tools such as
   ServiceNow, Splunk, Tenable, etc.
   - Experience with hardening CI/CD pipelines, containers, container
   registries, and code repositories and use of tools such as Jenkins, GitHub,
   Azure DevOps, etc.
   - Knowledge of threat modeling, static/dynamic/interactive code
   analysis, fuzzing, software, composition analysis, secrets management, and
   related tool
   - Excellent communication skills are crucial since this position will
   work with multiple cross-functional teams
   - Possess a positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative and
   energetic team environment
   - Experience working in a fast-paced, innovative environment
   - Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
   - Strong self-initiative with the ability to identify areas of
   improvement with little direction
   - Attention to detail with the ability to produce reliable, effective
   solutions
   - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or
   equivalent experience



*Special Qualifications:*

   - Experience designing, implementing, and documenting CI/CD pipelines
   using Azure DevOps, preferred
   - Strong Automation skills and the ability to drive initiatives to
   automated processes, preferred
   - Experience with containers and container orchestration such as
   Kubernetes, preferred
   - Experience with Octopus Deploy, preferred
   - Experience developing cloud-based applications that run in a Microsoft
   Azure, preferred
   - Linux administration and scripting skills, preferred
   - Experience performing automated/load test, preferred
   - Experience developing metrics to measure improvements using DevOps
   practices, preferred



*Work Description:*

   - Defining and scripting private IP address spaces via Vnets, and subnets
   - Defining and scripting Internet communications (Plan for inbound and
   outbound connectivity)
   - Defining and scripting communications between Azure resources via
   service endpoints, private endpoints and DNS
   - Ability to troubleshoot and identify issues that could lead to
   performance degradation
   - Collaborate with the feature development, architecture, and
   operations/support teams to share training and best practices
   - Configure DevOps CI/CD pipeline for development

*Job Description:*

As the Senior DevOps Engineer you will lead our Azure DevOps efforts and be
hands-on in multiple domains - such as CI/CD toolchain, Azure environments,
and tooling for digital operations. You will be working with our ventures
and with technology partners and client technology teams to help our
product teams deliver high-performing, highly-scalable, and Azure-optimized
products that provide unique value to our customers. You bring great
technical breadth and expert level experience in software engineering,
DevOps, and Azure - combined with the ability to provide technical thought
leadership and coach and direct more junior engineers.



*Responsibilities:*

Demonstrates extensive knowledge and a proven record of success improving
and managing the productivity of technology processes and business
processes by creating highly automated workflows for software development
and operations including the following areas:

- Azure DevOps

-CI/CD toolchains centred around tools such as Jenkins, Spinacker,
Teamcity, etc.

- Enabling DevOps tools such as Rancher, Gitlab, Github, Artifactory,
Sonarqube, Fortify/Veracode, Vault

- Operations tools (e.g. Splunk, ELK stack, New Relic, App Dynamics, Data
Dog)

- Test automation tools (e.g. Selenium, Artillery)

- Agile software development practices (esp. Scrum and Kanban)

- Configuration management tools (such as Terraform, Chef, Puppet, Ansible)

- Azure infrastructure and container-based infrastructures

- Lean IT principles and data driven approaches



*Requirements:*

- A true team player within a fast paced environment

- Acting as a lead in a rapidly changing environment including directing
and coaching engineers

- Strong desire to keep learning, maintain own skill set, stay up to date
and expand one’s knowledge across the full stack

development of technology processes

- Developing reporting to measure the effectiveness of the toolchain on dev
and ops

- Applying continuous independent judgement while collaborating with
others, and influencing others within the project and domain teams

- Providing in the moment feedback to other staff members to support a real
time development culture

- Building, maintaining, and leveraging relationships as well as expert
level verbal and written communication skills

- Having the flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting
priorities, ambiguity and rapid change



*Education Requirement:*

- Minimum Year(s) of Experience: 8+ (overall IT experience), 3-4 (relevant
DevOps/Toolchain experience)

- Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or
related field

- Degree Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field

- Certification(s) Preferred: Azure Platform, Qualified Developer
(Solutions Architect or Developer)
