[android-developers] Re: adb can't find my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Tab ...
Anyone know how to get the Tab recognized on a Mac? I have USB debugging turned on, installed the latest Android SDK, installed the Galaxy Tab add-on in Eclipse, rebooted the Mac and the Tab, but adb still doesn't see it. I probably need a driver, right? I don't see one anywhere for the Mac. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups Android Developers group. I'm a mac user too. but there is no android usb driver for mac. You may check your device's configuration whether USB Debugging is enable or not. OK. Problem solved. Works like a champ on my Win Pro 64 machine. Thanks all. For the record: 1) disconnect device from computer prior to trying to set 'usb debugging' on. 2) download Galaxy S driver according to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728929 On Nov 13, 11:17 am, Gergely Juhász jg.sv...@gmail.com wrote: as is remember i use these:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=728929 2010/11/13 Kostya Vasilyev kmans...@gmail.com: Probably need to either download Samsung's drivers for the Tab (is there Kies for it?) or hack upnp device id's in the standard driver's inf file. -- Kostya Vasilyev --http://kmansoft.wordpress.com 13.11.2010 22:09 пользователь OldSkoolMark m...@sublimeslime.com написал: Thanks everyone. I had the same problem with my VZW Galaxy at first. Unplug the USB cable, then check the USB debugging box. -Howard On Nov 13, 4:43 am, Mark Murphy mmur...@commonsware.com wrote: On Sat, Nov 13, 2010 at 12:09 AM, OldSkoolMark m...@sublimeslime.com wrote: The 'enable USB debugging' setting is greyed out and unselectable. I had to unplug it from the computer. Then I could check the check box. This was on a T-Mobile tab, your mileage may vary.
