You don't have to look on the filesystem, there's a content provider
to get this information.  Check in the sample applications included
with the SDK, there's examples of using this.

Not at this time, though you could certainly write an application to
do it.  I think we're lacking SyncML libraries right now... but in my
experience playing with syncing to KDE stuff, the KDE stuff really
sucks anyways :)

There is no Android version of Zimbra available right now.
