*Architect is looking at the very least who can fit into below 
expectations:*

have actually done things they have listed on their profile.

understand the difference between .NET Framework and .NET Core, because 
this initiative is around .NET migration, without having knowledge and 
experience on these two, they will have a hard time figuring out how to 
move things from one place to another.

If they fulfil the above criteria, we should be mostly good, and they can 
upskill themselves on the job on the other things

 

*For Architect:*

Skillsets are pretty much the same, one thing is that *AWS will become a 
must-have.*

The person would be working to analyse the current state of a huge 
application and come up with a plan to convert it to an AWS native 
application

 

*Role Overview:*

   - Platform modernization and technical remediation from .NET 4 to .NET 6
   - Project movement to AWS

*Responsibilities:*

   - Migration of dot net products from .NET Framework to .NET 6
   - Containerization of the above products after migration
   - Create automated CI/CD pipelines for the different modules in the 
   products

 

*Must have:*

*.NET Framework, .NET Core (.NET 5/6 preferred), Some experience with 
Docker, ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, WCF, Good knowledge on CI/CD, Git & AWS*

*Good to have*:

Cloud (AWS/Azure) would be good-to-have
