Simon, Not sure if your question was answered: you'll need to open up the XMI and do a search and replace to replace any occurances of 3.0 with 3.1-RC1-SNAPSHOT (or whatever version you're changing to). Ahhh - thanks Chad. Yep - I hadn't twigged that the .xmi needed to be opened in a text editor, and then a search and replace performed. Just did that then, and it works a treat. Its a pity MagicDraw can't point to a profile rather than import it in toto (this would make it easy to point to other profiles). In any case, I'm sorted - thanks for the answer guys.
