[Angstrom-devel] Unmutable PREFERRED_VERSION_xyz in angstrom-2007.1.conf
Hello all, while testing newer package I noticed I could override some, and some not: conf/distro/angstrom-2007.1.conf uses one of PREFERRED_VERSION ?= PREFERRED_VERSION = for package versions. I would like to be able to override these easily from my local.conf, and so ?= is preferred for me. Is it possible to change this upstream, or is there a reason to make some package versions fully unmutable through local.conf? With -nosound I can run the video many times almost with no problems, although once I got mplayer not to respond to any keys so I had to reset. With sound and even with -af resample=48000 it runs one or two times and the next time it starts to generate a lot of alignment traps, which are logged to syslog. > Can you post a sample video file which causes it somewhere? > PS - did you mean to move off the list? Sorry, it was my error. I accidentaly replied just to you instead of cross-posting. -- Andrew ___ Angstrom-distro-devel mailing list Angstrom-distro-devel@linuxtogo.org http://lists.linuxtogo.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/angstrom-distro-devel
Re: [Angstrom-devel] Opie in Angstrom
I've tested (and am using) 1.2.3. There are some bugs, and Ie opened a few on bugzilla. But recently I've been without much time to test much (or even build opie) in OE. 2007/10/20, Michael Krelin <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>: > > In fact, I'm answering, just because I don't feel like being impolite, > because I have absolutely nothing to say. In fact, I'm answering, just because I don't feel like being impolite, because I have absolutely nothing to say. Recently I've been a way behind in OE (although by no means I want to abandon it) and right now I also have fever. So I hope you guys can do without me at the moment. Just for the record: I haven't tested opie image since we've moved OE on opie-1.2.3. I have built it, but haven't tested a bit of it, yet - I still have "pre" installed on my device. Back to being sick. ;-) Love, H Paul Eggleton wrote: > Hi all, > > I'd like to help getting Opie to the stage where it can be supported as an > option in Angstrom. [Angstrom-devel] Opie in Angstrom
Hi all, I'd like to help getting Opie to the stage where it can be supported as an option in Angstrom. Is there a list of things that need to be done before this can happen? I've already submitted a few patches through the OE bug tracker. Please let me know what else I can do to move the process along.
