Well, there is also a configuration for the X server in
org.openembedded.dev/packages/xserver-common/files/Xserver-at91.patch
"-screen 240x320"

Well, maybe you can directly change the value in the JFFS2 read/write filesystem
before building another image.

[Angstrom-devel] Angstrom on AT91SAM9261EK

2007-12-13 Thread CK Sim

Hi Nicolas,

I have noted the patch that includes the statement "-screen 240x320" in
Xserver configuration file.

I did try to modify that to "-screen 800x480" for my LCD display of 800x480
but it did not seem to work either.

Another issue observed is that the "gpe-dm" executes (as seen on console
output), but the others application "gpe-confd" etc which are expected to be
executed (as per 9261EK board) did NOT execute at all.

Again, this test was done on a custom board (similar to 9261EK board) but
with a 800x480 display. Also, the default jffs2 rootfs (found on linux4sam
website) is being used. Also, essential modifications are done to the kernel
2.6.22 (with patch applied as guided on the linux4sam website) to support
the 800x480 LCD display.

Any advise on what could have gone wrong.

Thanks in advance.
