So I have a Dell Intel machine, dual processor, with ... some RAM and some hard drive (I don't know the specs yet, I don't actually have the machine yet.) I want to run AOLserver on it to back this poor ol' Sparc up and maybe, just maybe, I'll upgrade past AOLserver 2.1 for this (yeah, well, if it ain't broke, don't fix it) (I'm actually still running Illustra, even.)
So my question is: what OS should I put on it? It's dual-processor, so I seem to recall that there were some issues with Linux? Should I spring for Solaris Intel? Go BSD? What? Michael
