[AOLSERVER] Oracle 9i

2003-09-17 Thread Barry Books
I'm moving an ACS site to 9i and Aolserver 4.0. I've built nsoracle-2.6 and
linked with the oci9 libs and I started getting this in my logs. It appears
from the Oracle site there is a change in the drivers that requires
initilizing bind variables. I'm assuming this requires a driver change. Does
anyone have a patch?

thanks
barry

Try asking on our OpenACS site - a couple of folks have been moving the
toolkit to Oracle 9i and have it working, and haven't mentioned any driver
change being necessary ...

Re: [AOLSERVER] Oracle 9i on RedHat 8.0?

2002-10-02 Thread Bruno Mattarollo

I am actually downloading Oracle 9i to try it ... I just installed RedHat 8
yesterday ...

But can't promise anything on feedback yet as the download from 9i is going
very very slow

Has anyone installed the former on the later yet?

I need to reinstall redhat and wondered if it was worth grabbing 8.0.
