[arch-dev-public] svntogit repo generation script moved to nymeria
This is just a quick note. In order to avoid having to sync the Subversion repos from nymeria to gerolde just to facilitate the generation of Git repos by the arch-svntogit script [1], I have relocated the script to nymeria. The Git repos [2] themselves had to be regenerated from scratch (from the Subsversion repos), and as such, any existing cloned repos won't be able to cleanly pull from them. In this case, it's recommended to delete and re-clone the repo. (tl;dr: If you have any clones of the svntogit repos, you'll need to recreate them.) [arch-dev-public] Draft for removal of catalyst drivers
Of course, feel free to comment and fix spelling mistakes With xorg-server hitting the extra repository, Catalyst drivers provided by AMD are no longer functioning due to an ABI change. In order to not cause fragmentation of repos, and the lack of reactivity of AMD, the choice has been taken by consensus to remove these drivers from the official community repositories. Alternatives provided by the community of our users aren't missing (1), as well as drivers provided by the Mesa project (2). [arch-dev-public] ruby rebuild status
Hey all, This morning I completed the remaining packages in the ruby todo and tried moving over the packages to testing repos. Apparently some packages (some community packages) were marked as complete even though the package doesn't exist anywhere except in community stable. I can see 2 scenarios why this would happen, 1. You don't think the package requires a rebuild, in that case remove it from the todos. 2. you rebuilt and forgot to push but marked it as complete. Here is a list of packages that were marked as complete but weren't: john nopaste (I removed this since it doesn't depend on ruby, it just hosts the entire executable in the svn repo which is why I got a false positive) ruby-highline supercollider task
