I do not agree with your view that braces should always be used around
variable names. While I would like to read any justification about that, my
opinion is that they should only be used when necessary.

It's a safety net. It will ALWAYS work if you use braces. Not everyone
knows what character ends a variable name and what doesn't.

2010-02-15 Thread Aaron Griffin
Abadago dreaming about his first time

A little story, how I dream about my first experiences with a dog.
Feedback is welcome.

Sorry if my English is not perfect, but I'm not a native speaker.
Therefore sometimes I'm missing the right words.

I turn left into the small parking area in the woods three kilometers
after the village. A sign tells me that here starts the small walking
trail she described to me. I detect her standing next to an older blue
car together with a mid sized shorthaired brown dog. He seems to be
partly Terrier. A millisecond I'm worried about that she knows now my
cars plate and that my anonymity will end here and now. At a second
thought it makes me makes me feel thrilling - after all that years I
will not only talk about my secret desires with somebody but also
hopefully share them.

I'm now in contact with her since several weeks. We chatted several
hours at and talked about the lessons of a beginning zoo. She shared
some of her personal experiences with me, which I understand as one of
the biggest gifts somebody ever gave to me. She pointed out some of the
lessons parts and suggested I should practice the position of seduction
if I ever want to have a passionate first time. She also mentioned, that
I probably will feel the guilt after the first time and should really
consider, if I was ready for that and step out in the real world or
should just stay in my dreams. All I did the last hours was to reread
and memorize everything I found at the web. And now I'm here.

She is in her mid thirties and has dark blond curls with a touch of red.
Wearing a red-green plaid skirt with matching socks and a short
loden-coat over a shirt she is smiling into my car expectantly. After
parking the car I rush out and my first words cum out with a small
stutter: I'm Abadago. I rushed because otherwise I might get to
frighten and would maybe turn the car and leave this chance of my life
in the rear view mirror.

She is still smiling and answers: I'm strays-girl and this is stray.
Her voice sounds deep, a little bit smoky but very very soothing for me.
She's offering me her hand and we shake a little bit longer then
necessary while looking each other deeply into the eyes. I bend down a
little bit and hold my hand out to Stray who is sniffing on it while
shaking his tail friendly.

We should get used to each other when this should gonna be a nice day.
I think.

She says: Shall we go for a short walk?

I nod and she is open her trunk and gets a daypack and a blue bundle out
of it. The bundle she hands over to me.

Can you take it? There is no space left in mine.

No problem, there is enough space in my rucksack. I'm answering and
open the backdoor of my car and get a big hiking rucksack out of it. I
stuff the bundle into it, which seems to be a blue overall.

To finally add something to our conversation I say: You see I'm well
prepared

Then, lets go. she replies smiling. Slowly but steady I'm starting to
relax a bit.

We are walking a small trail covered with fir needles into the woods.
Stray is running left and right into the trees but returns regularly.
Some minutes later I'm taking Strays-Girls hand and let her walk me.
Strays-girl puts stray to the leash and now she is walking both of us.
Stray at the leash and me at her other hand.

Now we need to go some meters off the trail. I detected the place some
weeks ago as Stray was following a deer track. There we are completely
safe and we will not be disturbed.

I'm completely in your hand. I'm replying a little bit theatrically.

Some hundreds of meters we climbing up a slope and reach a dip some
meters in diameter and at least 3 meters deep. Maybe a small ancient
stone pit. It has a small entrance towards the slop and we enter. The
ground is covered by leafs nearly half knee-high.

Here we are. she says. Did I promise to much? Following this
direction the next trail is even more away than the one we are coming
from. And I don't think we are gonna such loud?

Lets see. But I hope we are not surprised by an ranger I reply
laughing but still a bit nervous. I loose her hold and open my rucksack.
I get two felt blankets out of it and start covering the ground.

Time to change your clothes. I changed the overall to your needs. she
commanded with an impish to me.

I start to remove my clothes a little bit hesitatingly. I turn away from
her because I'm a little bit shy because of my thin body and my average
toy. Then I think: Shit, who cares! and turn around. She surveys me
with her eyes and comments: I don't see were your problem is. I find
your body attractive.

That's the right comment to the right time and I can relax myself again
a little bit.

As Stray wants to take a closer sniff of my body Strays-Girl is holding
him back: Stop! Your time comes soon enough.

I jump into the overall and recognize that it has an oval opening
between my legs. From my navel to my rum my flesh is exposed to the open
air and to her looks and access. My penis is getting a

[arch-general] Kernel 2.6.30 on EEE and KMS

2010-02-15 Thread fons
Hello all,

I'm installing Arch on an EEE. Following the wiki,
I installed from a core image which hase 2.6.30,
blocked its update, and then updated all the rest.

Starting X I get this:

(EE) intel(0): No kernel modesetting driver detected.

Does this mean I'll need 2.6.32 anyway (and hence
no Wifi) or are there other solutions ?

TIA,

Dear Me,
I thought we had postfix checking for this sort of thing. If I
remember correctly, I thought there were DNS lookups to verify that
the IP it came from matches an MX record for the domain of the mail.
Am I wrong? Did we lose this when we switched servers?

either manually or using netcfg (2.2.1)

So there maybe there is indeed a problem with 2.6.32
as mentioned on the wiki page for the 901.

Improved support for the rt28XX devices by Ralink has been commited to
the linux-wireless tree AFAIK. You should try if you can get better
results with compat-wireless.

I've got it working with testing/netcfg (and probably
made some stupid mistakes before). It still files some
complaints in /var/log/messages.log but otherwise seems
to work OK !

Better use some IMAP client with gmail. I suggest Thunderbird or Claws Mail.

IMAP doesn't delete mails from mail server. You can use IMAP on multiple
machines.

The reason I use IMAP is because of the multiple-machines problem, and I
can always use the web interface if I need to check mail somewhere
random (yeah right, I'm not that obsessed).
