You can easily search the bug tracker[1] yourself, and help out with bugs
in packages you are familiar with.
Maintaining packages is usually not very time-intensive for the
maintainers. So I think that there is little to offer there.
Besides that, you can have a look at this page[2] for more things to do.

Basically, you don't have to be a TU to help out on most tasks.

Good luck and thanks in advance,

Thanks for you help all.

Try booting a live CD/USB and test it.
Other than that, it's a faulty key.

Yes, the others work.
I just plugged a keyboard in and the arrow works. That seems to suggest a
laptop hardware problem, right?

I would rule out hardware before digging too deep. Do the other arrows
work? Do you have a keyboard you can plug in?

I'm far from an expert but that would be my conclusion, yes. Try Ivan's
suggestion too, just in case.

[arch-general] Key not working

2015-12-09 Thread Peter O'Doherty

Hi,
I've just done a new arch install on my Dell laptop and have noticed
that the right arrow isn't working. And showkeys doesn't respond to the
key being pressed. Is there anything else I can try before assuming it's
a hardware problem?

Many thanks,
Peter
