Time only, the build issues I had when I first got into it were fixed in
the 1.3 release.

Just a heads up, I am and have been interested in bringing retroarch into
[community] and have had nightly builds going around for a while. Hopefully
I'll have the time to do so in a not so distant future.

There is no special reason, the arch maintainers simply don't have 
enough interest in this project.
