Re: [arch-general] Dmenu vs. KMS
Same here with x86-video-ati-6.14.1 and HD4670, but I don't normally use such long lines with dmenu. I wonder whether anyone else has missed this delay, because you didn't describe what you see in your first message. Yeah, my mistake. With short lines everything's ok.

If i continue pressing 'arrow down' key and then release it scrolling stops only after a huge delay(~5 seconds). Excerpts from Stan's message of 2011-04-27 17:53:56 +0200: Hi, guys. Have some troubles with dmenu(4.2.1-1), stock kernel(2.6.38.4-1) and perhaps xf86-video-ati(6.14.1-1): dmenu lags. Vertical listing is really pain in the ass(latency ~1 sec) and with blob everything works just fine. If anyone has the same here i'll post it to suckless's or x.org's bugzilla. Re: [arch-general] Dmenu vs. KMS
I'm not getting any lag with the same versions of dmenu and kernel26. I'm using xf86-video-intel though, so maybe that makes a difference.
