Yep, I see it now that I've sync'd. It's not something that I'd periodically check. I'm sure it would have jumped out at me the next time I did an update via aur helper. Then again my question was more about getting notice (and info), than about noticing. ;) > If a package that used to be provided by the repos is now listed as a > foreign package by pacman or an AUR package by an AUR helper, then this > indicates the package was dropped. :) > > It was also discussed on arch-dev-public (which anyone can subscribe to > for read-only access, or simply look at the public archives) as part of > our end-of-year repository cleanup. It is easy to tell, however, by listing installed packages which are not from the repos: `pacman -Qm`. Some AUR helpers can also list packages that were installed from the AUR. If a package that used to be provided by the repos is now listed as a foreign package by pacman or an AUR package by an AUR helper, then this indicates the package was dropped. :) It was also discussed on arch-dev-public (which anyone can subscribe to for read-only access, or simply look at the public archives) as part of our end-of-year repository cleanup. -- Eli Schwartz signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

Unfortunately, both of those options only act as fronend clients, and still need a DVR backend like mythtv-backend or tvheadend to connect to. =-Jameson

[arch-general] mythtv issues with HDTV and MPG ac3 audio
Hi, Since upgrading to 0.26 series, i have serious issues with HD TV and DVB-S mpg conversion. I'm using latest git version of 0.26 from 121209. - HDTV looses audio complete if using high profile for conversion. - DVB-S mpg's are not convertable anymore with cutlists. The mpg's are not working to convert until I remove the ac3 audio stream manually with ffmpeg. With HDTV I don't get a working cutted recording. Do others observe such issues too? Thanks. greetings tpowa -- Tobias Powalowski Archlinux Developer Package Maintainer (tpowa) http://www.archlinux.org tp...@archlinux.org signature.asc Description: OpenPGP digital signature

All installed fine, but I get Bus error if I try to run any MythTV app. I guess it was compiled with some Intel only feature? Anyone have some suggestions? or should I just grab a copy of Mythbuntu? Bus error? Perhaps DBus error, if DBus isn't installed/running/configured? The SVN version works fine (probably a compile flag for AMD uP) Manne
