All the packages install fine but tweetdeck doesn't run.

Thanks that is not the actual problem. the problem is that adobe-air is 32 bit only and you'll need a lot of lib32 stuff just to run the apps. If you really want to use it, i suggest to use a i686 chroot and install adobe-air from aur -- Ionut
