[Arches] Validation on datatypes

Hello everyone, 
I have installed arches 4.1 and I want to validate that the geometries the 
user edits must be inside a BBOX. I have checked in datatypes.py already 
exists a function to do that but I think it isn't been used as the resource 
is always valid.

Is it still not included on arches??? Do you know in what version will be 
included??

[Arches] Requests of base map on report

Good morning all,
I would like to know if it's correct when I open a Report on the search I 
start to see that the base map url are requested all the time (even I don't 
do anything on the map)

I think that this is a problem because when you want to print the report, 
sometimes the base map is not printed so I guess It's in the middle of 
those requests
Is that correct??

[Arches] Popup not working

Hello everyone

I upgrades to arches 4.1 and I can see a strange behaviour on popup in the 
search map.

Since I upgraded popup is not working correctly, because It doesn't appear 
on hover or click in search markers...

Is that new on arches 4.1???

[Arches] Print report

Hello every one,
I have installed arches v4 here: http://coac.nexusgeografics.com/coac
I have a problem when I want to print a report for resource.

The problem is that the base map is not printed. It's in blank (as you can 
see in the picture)

Is this a bug or am I missing something.

[Arches] Map settings with bbox

Hello everyone
I have installed arches v4 and I would like to know why even I have drawn a 
polygon in map settings (in the same page says Draw a polygon representing 
your project's extent. These bounds will serve as the default for the cache 
seed bounds, search result grid bounds, and map bounds in search, cards, 
and reports)
I can still search and edit features out of these box.

Hello Adam,
I added a new Function to achieve the pop up with diferent cards. Now I 
would like to know if your collegues have this in mind for future 
improvements in arches v4. 
The problem is I have to change the model/resource,py to get the new 
descriptor for the new function(I also added a marker to add symbology in 
the markers) so if we want to update your new features would be a problem 
to merge files

Thank you adam

I follow your advise and create a new function in database.

These new function allows to add diferent cards and I also added a marker 
tab (in case you want markers by categories) and then I simply change 
selects in the function to be multiple. So multiple values are now 
avalaible.

I also had to change the resource to index to this new function

I have a fork in github in case you want to have a look.

In documentation says that the arches project is responsive design but when 
I see my arches installation: http://coac.nexusgeografics.com/arches/search
It doesn't show map correctly

I am missing something or it is the way search appears in tablets and 
phones (see capture to check the way I see it)

[Arches] Resource Layers after deleting map source

Hello everyone 
I have a very strange behaviour after I delete a map source and map layer.

I go to Resource Layers and it appears to have a javascript error on 
map-layer-manager.js on line 335 ((item.config.layerName() ? 
item.config.layerName() : item.layer.name) :) and I can't open any tab of 
Map Layer Manager.

Do you know how can I fix that??

I used ypur solution for styles and works smoothly.

About the filter I would like to see that function you talk about, but I 
have a doubt with it... Is it possible to add by default this filter in the 
search??
I have added an spatial filter in search.py and it works fine but in map I 
still see all features.

I would like to have two groups in arches application that have different 
styles on the arches index and  in map configuration.


Resources Model:
ResourceModel1

Groups:
Group 1-->  An index with certain styles *group1.css *and also *search and 
edit *elements in  ResourceModel1 (those that are in the whole world).
Group2-->  I guess the same index with styles *group2.css* and also *search 
and edit* *certain *elements in  ResourceModel1 (those that are in area of 
Barcelona).

Is that possible with arches. What is the best way to achieve this??
 I guess with one instance of arches is enough but nowadays the map 
extension is for all elements in search. Some users should be only able to 
edit elements in a certain area.

[Arches] Validation on geometry resources

hello everyone,
I have a question about features validation. I have tried to change 
*DATA_VALIDATION_BBOX 
*as it seems to be used in GeojsonFeatureCollectionDataType... (even tried 
to to change the *coord_limit*),
I have recompiled datatypes.py, restart server, etc... But it seems to 
validate the geoemtry anyway

Do you know why this behaviour???

I installed arches on Ubuntu and deploy through apache2(wsgi) like it's 
said in your web.

if you want to try and check our elements just have a look in our website

It appears to use tileserver (though the resource layer doesn't user cache.

[Arches] Permissions on Resources

Hello all,
I have a question about user's permissions on Resources.
   1. Is it possible to allow some user's to edit resources  only from one 
model and not the rest???
   2. Is it possible to allow some users not to edit fields in one resource 
(hide those fields???)
   3. Is it possbile to hide those fields on the report for some users???

The problem is that using USE_L10N = True that formats numbers and dates 
and calendars in Spanish (and we need so for models)
 the configuration for map centers comes like this from server data.

[Arches] Mapping file export

--I have used the mapping file export to generate a postgres view.

1.1 If the resource model has diacritics in name, the arches project throws 
an error when exporting (some problems of codification I guess)
1.2 I create a py that from the export file generate the postgres view as 
the resrource model can have a lot of cards
  But when the card ALLOW MULTIPLE VALUES in the export file doesn't 
say anything so there's no way to know if will be for multiple values or not

Is correct that to export data, through command lines, only json and csv 
are avalaible??? 
What about the rest of extensions(Shapefile, KML, GML, HTML, GeoJson, ...) 
Are only available through postgres view??

[Arches] Language for nodes in arches v4

Dear all
For arches v4

I have already done all the things for translating website for arches 
project (about making and compiling messages) but my question is what about 
nodes and menus and data??? Where can I translate the labels that we use to 
update resources. For example if I have the website in English and I make 
the model in Spanish. Where can I say other languages to use for labels on 
editing menus???
