Can you tell me a bit more about your scenario please? What version (including fix packs) of WAS are you using and on which platform. Also which version of WMQ are you using and which platform. I see that you mentioned queues, is that queue based pub/sub messaging or point to point? Regarding your question, there is no way of setting a 'start-up state' for an activation specification. I don't think changing start up ordering will help either. Can you also provide a stack trace for your hung thread please. Cheers, Matt.
