Raghu, after listening to the songs, no one will dare to say that AR has
dubbed it. But that's all a guess. Who knows, if he might have done it too?
AR himself has to confirm that! :-)

Sarathy, fortunately I didn't get a chance to see the movie except for the
song Hathkadi. And after that, I didn't bother to see the rest of it; as by
then, I had already received a call from Moser Baer distributor, telling
that it was released on VCD.

arrking4eva, I'll try to upload the extracted audio as soon as I get my VCD.

GOLDEN ERA to be released ? I am eagerly waiting for Rahman's composition in

  Rahman , Who earlier had done brilliant job in the composition of "WARRIORS 
OF HEAVEN AND EARTH"  and "LORD OF THE RINGS:MUSICAL" . 
   
  I am 200% sure that Rahman will give the best music in this one also.
   
  Rahman who had already won Southern Filmfare award for best music director 
this year for SOK, is the strong contender for Hindi Filmfare for the best 
music director for the film GURU , and if JODHA AKBAR is happened to release 
this year and if it becomes succesful, then surely there will be 2 nominations 
for the best music director category in Hindi Filmfare .
   
  It is 100% sure Rahman is going to win best music for SIVAJI THE BOSS in next 
Sothern Filmfare .

man, I got u what u r trying to say... Rythmn pattern (dont mistake it for 
Rythm or Backgroud of song) of the line "Muthu Muthu siripu" and Airtel 
Matches... but its is definitely not a copy or not even a inspiration... 
   
  Let me give you another example... listen to Titan ad music... and "Veetukku 
Veettukku vaasapadi" song from Kizhakku Vaasal... they will have the same kind 
rythmn pattern... Does that mean Ilayaraja copied Rahman ?

Hi all,

Though this may seems a bit late but yesterday i watched Lagaan after a long 
time. What to say about the movie. I was watching it in my bedroom with the 
newly installed 5:1 surround sound. And i must tell you, It was pure magic.

I couldn't find any single scene where i would say " yeh kya hai yaar" which 
happens in most of the films. Each scene, each character, each dialogues is so 
thought out and fresh that you really marvel the creativity of the director. 
You are so absorbed in the proceedings that you don't see it as a movie. you 
watch as is all happening in real and you are overlooking their struggle, fight 
and the ultimate triumph.

In every aspect the film excels..

AND NOW ABOUT THE MUSIC..

I clearly remember the first time i have seen the promo. I was in delhi at my 
friends home and we were chatting and the TV was on. We are into our 
conversation and suddenly the promo comes. though we were not watching the tv,  
the sound " Ghanan Ghanan" and everybody started looking towards the TV.
