Great to hear that ARR's songs have been nominated but I also feel Tere Bina 
should have been a nominee for Best song of the year.. How can they ever come 
up with Himesh Reshmiya- Joot Nahi Bolna –Aap Ka Suroor?? what do you think 
guys?

It’s nowhere near his best. It all sounds so similar. It has a very strong 
south Indian flavour. So many things were written against the Guru soundtrack 
but going by the 39 per cent of votes that you have e-mailed for the A.R. 
Rahman score, it’s evident how the music touched a chord. From the Turkish 
Mayya mayya to the melodious Aye hairathe, Rahman unveiled yet another 
versatile soundtrack. For some the highlight was the theme of the film — Jaage 
hain — but for most it was the Abhishek-Ash duet Tere bina that was the big 
ear-catcher. All ears now on Rahman’s songs for Subhash Ghai’s Main Yuvraj and 
the Hindi remake of Ghajini starring Aamir Khan.

Last time tried it for Sivaji. wasnt happy with the quality of the 
CD. the Chandramukhi songs added with it were poor quality, and after 
Sivaji's songs played, the other songs didnt play at all (the CD 
didnt go beyond a certain part).

Q: Since Rahman has stayed may days abroad, his music sounds different isnt?
(tamil-ness has kind  of reduced) ;)

A: I believe that Rahman's music caliber is increasing more. His songs
become hit gradually. Rahman does different dimension music in songs like
Mubae vaa, thee thee thee, oru koodai sunlight with various raagas. Music
does not have language. Listen it keenly, you will understand the each and
every new thing in his songs..

thats a good question buddy... i dont mind in posting all the edited tracks
(its not my creation but its from the great Rahman anna) of mine here i
usually post it in the forum ( arrahman-online.com) because the posting
will be there forever and its easy for the new members to dig up the old
posts if i post it here the tracks will be invisible from the
discussion board very soon if there is a new member, the wont be able to
download it sometimes i do post the links to the forum (convenience for
me) but the post wont came up here it has been moderated i guess

at the same time i believe that, all of the people who have posted their
edited tracks over here, are expecting comments...i am sure most of u will
agree with that so do i... previously, my own mix of Tere Bina &
Aaruyire received a good comments fom the members but none came from the
big names (active members) here if you dont like it, you may mention it
to me, but they aren't saying anytingfrankly telling this, i just felt
that ppl here dont give compliments, critics or even comments on those
tracks. i do appreciate the works of kaissom ppl do comment on
him i also expect the same maybe they are commenting 2 him because
they know him...

nothing to regret i will try to post my edited version of songs
later in a short while i am about to post Kadhalar Dhinam full BGM [DVD
ripping] maybe i could get some comments from the members here

A R Rahman is now going places. A busy composer in Tamil and Hindi, Rahman is 
now scoring music for Shekar Kapoor's 'Elizabeth- the Golden Age', where he 
pairs up with Hollywood actor Craig Armstrong, he is very excited.
'It has been really a wonderful experience working with Craig', says Rahman.
'We traveled a lot in places like Glasgow...remotely working with the guys in 
London,' says Rahman.
Some of he ongoing projects of Rahman include Ashutosh Gowariker’s Jodha Akbar 
starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai and Subhash Ghai's Yuvaraj
Rahman's songs in Rajnikanth starrer Sivaji-The Boss was a blockbuster hit in 
Kollywood. The film is being dubbed in Hindi and Rahman is eagerly awaiting to 
see the response for Sivaji's songs in Hindi.
'After a long time, I have decided to dub my songs in Hindi. I had almost 
stopped dubbing in Hindi but this time I am convinced that it will do well. The 
music is ready and will be released soon,' he says.
