[arr] Re: 2 IIFA nominations for Rahman
oh I did not notice that they nominated Bela Shinde for Man mohana. this is absolutely wonderful. she deserved it so much. damn that everyone included Filmfare ignored her. anyways i am really happy that IIFA got it right. though i am shocked what Monali did in Zara zara which got her a nomination?? this is ridiculous. and same is Farhan Akhtar's. anyways i wish Bela victory though it is not difficult as Shreya and Shilpa are there. - Jahanzeb --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "jibandevta" wrote: > > > Not a single entry of 'Yuvvraaj'..why always Yuvvraaj being bypassed..? > It's music is way better than Ghazini. > > > > --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, $ Pavan Kumar $ wrote: > > > > > > Jaane Tu not considered i think...Aamir Khan productions...even last time > > Taare Zameen par another aamir production wasn't taken into consideration > > due to non-filling of form by Aamir as he does not believe in awards. > > > > > > Anyways..here are the nominations.. > > > > > > - > > > > Best Music > > A.R.Rahman - Jodhaa Akbar > > A.R.Rahman- Ghajini > > Pritam - Race > > Shankar Ehsaan Loy - Rock On > > Vishal Shekhar - Dostana > > > > > > Best Lyrics > > Anvita Dutt Gupta - Khuda Jaane (Bachna Ae Haseeno) > > Jaideep Sahni - Haule Haule (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi) > > Javed Akhtar - Jashn-E-Bahara (Jodhaa Akbar) > > Javed Akhtar- Socha Hai (Rock On) > > Sameer - Pehli Nazar Mein (Race) > > > > Best Playback Singer - Male > > Atif Aslam - Pehli Nazar Mein (Race) > > Farhan Akhtar - Socha Hai (Rock On) > > Javed Ali - Jashn-E-Baharaa (Jodhaa Akbar) > > KK- Khuda Jaane (Bachna Ae Haseeno) > > Sukhwinder Singh - Haule Haule (Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi) > > > > Best Playback Singer - Female > > Bela Shinde - Man Mohana (Jodhaa Akbar) > > Monali - Zara Zara Touch Me (Race) > > Shilpa Rao - Khuda Jaane (Bachna Ae Haseeno) > > Shreya Ghoshal - Teri Ore (Singh is Kinng) > > Sunidhi Chauhan - Desi Girl (Dostana) > > > > > > Full Nominations list : > > > > http://www.bollywoodhungama.com/features/2009/04/29/5111/index.html > > >

To: "ARR FAN CLUB" Date: Friday, 1 May, 2009, 11:39 AM Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya songs online May 01, 2009 Vinnai Thaandi Varuvaya has created a lot of expectations as the film is being directed by ace director Gautham Menon. Also, VTV has Silambarasan pairing up with Trisha and this youthful combination has created a lot of publicity in Kollywood especially with the promo stills that were out when the film was announced. The film’s shooting is progressing at a rapid pace. Like all the much-hyped movies, which seem to be the trend these days, VTV’s songs have found its way to the internet. The two songs - En Nenjil and Kanner Khadalane – are being widely circulated on the internet. However, the VTV unit has strongly denied that the songs are lifted from their film. http://www.behindwo ods.com/tamil- movie-news- 1/may-09- 01/vinnai- thaandi-Varuvaya -01-05-09. html http://indian- music-bgm. blogspot. com/ Bollywood news, movie reviews, film trailers and more! [arr] Fans of ARR in NY/NJ :: Get-together :: May 9th
Hi, I'm planning a get-together on May 9th (next Saturday) of ARR fans in the NY/NJ area. I hail from Mumbai and have been in NY/NJ for abt two yrs. Swapnil and some other local Mumbai fans used to meet there regularly and we had great time at ARR meets. For a few hours we would be talking, listening, watching and breathing everything-ARR. I got only fonder of ARR through these meets. I've been a fan since Roja days - after being to these meets I realized I was only one of the many ARR fan-atics out there. I thought it would be great to have something similar in the NY/NJ area!! So, come on over -- if you're a fan from ARR's vintage-music years or have just discovered his music through some his recent hits. With last year's terrific music like Jodhaa Akbar, Ghaniji, Slumdog, Elizabeth, etc. - we'll have lot of material to listen to, discuss, critique, etc. We'll listen to some new/old music, discuss his new/old work, etc. If this excites you -- you're most welcome to huddle at my modest apartment next Saturday.
