  If the grapevine is to be believed, then A. R. Rahman will be 
composing the music for Kamal Haasan's period film Yuddham Sei directed by 
Mysshkin. According to sources, Kamal felt that Rahman's magical touch would do 
wonders for this film. Apparently, ARR had earlier agreed to compose the music 
for one the actor's films, which was to be produced under his home banner of 
Rajkamal Film International and, by agreeing to work on Yuddham Sei, he is just 
fulfilling that commitment.

Meanwhile, the audio of Kamal's forthcoming movie Unnai Pol Oruvan, which also 
marks his daughter Shruti's music directorial debut, will be launched by the 
end of this month. The film will hit the screens around the third week of 
September.

The thing that made the mess up in this post, is that the name of the person
who posted this was Gopal. And it wasn't Gopal Srinivasan, but Gopal
Anandan.
And I am more surprised that how this unauthentic post got approved in the

Just was amazed to see the Cinthol Advertisment music in Shauk Hai Song @
1.22 mins, I don't know whether anyone has shared this before, or only I
felt the same. But its really amazing to hear the same old music again which
features in the ad, matches with the song. Was in my mind for long and
thought of sharing it now :)

Man! Can I take advantage of my namesake :) ? Gopal, folks here will believe 
anything from you. Boy! you have garnered some reputation here - am amazed and 
happy for you.

Some songs name just occurred to me and I'd just put them down to gauge the 
reaction and also get some smart response back. Turns out that 70% of the 
responses were genuinely inquiring about the sonu, kylie songs :) 

Anyways, let me put it on record that these ARE INDEED the songs in the movie.

PS: Off what I heard - Shark Shark is a beautiful melody picturized on Lara 
Dutta and Akshay Kumar and completely filmed under water (1st of its kind in 
Bollywood). Singers Madhusree and Hariharan have rendered a masterpiece of a 
love song. Watch out for the bubbles effect (kudos to Resul) - you've never 
heard one sound like that before.

@ live for arr Live - I dont think there is any need to beg. Since the label is 
T-Series - Bollywood Hungama will update the track list pretty soon, and songs 
will probably also be out on their website before the CDs are out (as I am sure 
T-Series gonna make 2-3 delays as usual). Same thing happened with Delhi-6.

there r 7 songsand u havent mentioned the songs sung by Kylie 
Minogueaccording to reports she has sung a duet with Sonu and a disco 
numberso according to ur list...there r 5 original songsso that makes

Slumdog Millionaire composer A.R. Rahman has declared that he has 
stopped taking on new projects because of his busy schedule.

Rahman,
who won two Oscars for his work on Danny Boyle's film, revealed that he
is currently working on four separate Bollywood films.He told The Times of 
India: "At the moment, I'm racing against time to complete the Indian projects 
I've on hand and that includes Mani Ratnam's Raavana, Rajnikanth's animation

Let's cut through all the sounds, arrangements, bells, whistles, what have you 
and just look at the raw melodies that AR has been churning out for 
years.just the tunes.  When is comes to the slower numbers esp., there is 
nobody else out there IMO who creates as strong and impactful melodies, pure 
tunes, as AR.  And each time, he does it so originally and freshdon' t know 
how the well never runs dry, except that his creative process is truly divinely 
influenced. 

There are lots of other MDs out there whose tunes I love.MM Kreem, Moitra, 
Bharadwaj, SEL, etc. etc., but as far as the sheer strength and impact of pure 
melody, AR is second to none.

Chord - didn't see Amit Trivedi or Vishaal B in your mentions.
Amit Trivedi continues to impress me with each passing song. Aamir, Dev D
and now this song from Wake Up Sid - Iktara. Sheer genius. He might be just
2 soundtracks old but he displays an amazing range ..be it is music or his
singing itself.
ARR, Vishal Bharadwaj and now Amit T - thats how my top 3 would look like
these days.
