An official note from the Ajith stable confirms the finalization of his 50th 
project. This, as informed by us earlier, will be directed by ace director 
Gautham Menon and produced jointly by Dayanidhi Azhagiri and Vivek Rathnavelu. 
It’s also now confirmed that Mozart of Madras A R Rahman will score for this as 
yet untitled venture. The film will go on floors in July 2010.

Ajith, however, is currently touring the Europe with Shalini and daughter 
Anushka and is competing in the F2 championships, slated to be held soon in the 
UK. He is currently training for the competition under the auspices of his 
agents.

the Southbank Centre. *This series of events, which kicks off on Wednesday
and runs through to Saturday, will explore the culture of India and its
relationship to the UK through over 30 events spanning dance, music,
literature, fashion, food and debate. Amongst the events will be a
performance from AR Rahman with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, and Desi
Live, which will be hosted and curated by BBC Radio 1 and Asian Network
presenter Nihal and bring together three of the biggest names in UK Bhangra
- H-Dhami, Jaz Dhami and Juggy D.

Raavan, the film directed by ace director Mani Rathnam is ready and the Hindi 
version would be screened at Cannes film Festival on 14th of May. This is a 
prestigious moment for Indian film industry. Mani Rathnam will be at the 
screening accompanied by the lead cast of the film, Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek 
Bachchan and Vikram. The music which is scored by A R Rahman is much 
anticipated and the audio will be released in April. Raavan is slated for 
release on 18th of June in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu.
