I WAS JUST about to share the songs here Just about...
R.Ananth is a BIG GENIUS!! An amazing talent! Lafangey parinde songs, are
ofcourse NOT upto his usual standards (though he has composed only for few
films)... Yash Raj banner...so interferences would definitely be there. But the
track 'BORN TO FLY' is definitely of HOLLYWOOD standards.

The compsoer has previously composed for Nirnayam (malayalam), Shakthi(tamil) ,
zor(hindi), Harischandra( tamil), koteeswaran( tamil) ..He is primarily an AD
JINGLE composer...No. 1 in MUMBAI!!! A big genius he is! If he continues in
Bollywood..he would surely become a close No.2 to ARR... He is having the
creativity of Vishal Bharadwaj, and sounding sense of ARR!! But he is NOT
influenced by any!

Guys, do not miss the track 'BORN TO FLY'.

watching En Swaasa Kaatre and getting amazed at the outstanding BGMs.

But the movie was terrible and really didn't deserve such high quality

"athu meeri aarathey" is definitely srini.. I guess his voice comes in
Thiruda Thiruda also. Ill get back with times on that. not too sure about it

Re: [arr] Re: Question Regarding Parkathey Parkathey

2010-07-20 Thread Abhinay Natraj
This is what srini replied to my question on Facebook. He probably meant
the first full song. This was just a harmony portion and I am pretty sure
his voice was also used in Thiruda Thiruda in one of the bgms.

*"yes..was the first..was still working those days mostly out of
coimbatore."*

[arr] Re: Blog review of Puli - Qn to ARR?

2010-07-20 Thread theepr
I have really No idea why these people hates "Nammakkame", A Branded song by
ARR like any of his Vintage composition those made rahman himself as a Trade
Mark of Music.
Is these people really hated ARRs "asia Net"theme...
Or stated "O paalanuhare" as a worst, copied, song cant even ears accept and
not be made one like this ever more?
so, (don't know )why "Nammakame"?

while some other critics feels nowadays ARR is not like in his vintage style,
and he gives a gem song like his vintage "Asia Net theme" or
"Arraro-Karuthamma".again these peoples says a copy of old tune and should not
be made like thiswhats the point of thispeople please come to an
understanding first what U really looking for?

the Problem is really not in ARR's Music its all in Ur mind...

I really really want songs like "Nammakame" that No one ever capable to do
such..its true iconic compositions only from him.

whenever a 'asthosh' movie been proposed I will be eagerly looking forward for
a gem composition like this and It happened until "Jodha Akbar" . though I'm
still thirst to hear more on those genre, surely I will

[arr] Indira Theme - Rahmaniac Creation

2010-07-20 Thread theepr
Dear folks,

This is My first ever completed piece of Work to share. plz have a look. make
Ur valuable comments.

.IS A STRING INSTRUMENTAL
The whole work is done using nothing but a PC with available Virtual
Instruments and Music Production software. only "computer Key Board" has been
used to make Tones.

Hope U all like and...my consideration mostly on reproducing ARR's Very
Rare, very Old , Hard to get Music pieces which are mostly film background
scores.

The Fellow Rahmaniacs also can have a request on their favorite music pieces. I
will try my best, at least a good experimental. But one thing : I don't have a
Professional equipped/Home Studio, Instruments, Instrument Players or
Vocalist. It is only me and my PC.

All Praises goes to my Guru "ARR". accept my apologies If I'm not quiet live up
with my master's Tune. but also let me keep practicing on his tune since I only
influenced by him and he is my guruI also believe all it is by the
spirit of himself lives inside me

plz find the work:

Re: [arr] Question Regarding Parkathey Parkathey

2010-07-20 Thread theepr
It is absolutely 'Srinivas' in that song, no one else.He started to work with
ARR from Gentle man onwards. Srinivas joined with ARR in 1993 right after
Puthiya mugam. But He was working on Chorus and BGMs only. In the same movie
"gentleman" he also gave the voice in a Background humming along with Sujatha.
He sang the Alternative version of "raasathi" for the Movie "Thiruda Thiruda"
same year. Which is features in Movies BGM only.

Both Srinivas and Anuradha Sriram first sang for A.R.Rahman in

'Malarodu Malaringu Maghizhndhaadum Podhu'- The Tamil Choral Version of Bombay
Theme

He himself told this in when he came as Judge in Vijay TV's Airtel Super Singer
- 2

Thanks and Regards,

Re: [arr] Question Regarding Parkathey Parkathey

2010-07-20 Thread ARRvind
To my limited knowledge, i think Srinivas never sang "Parkathey Parkathey".!

Its Minmini as the main singer and Noel James along with harmony singers form
the chorus part!

Srinivas's very first song was "Swargam Enbadhu Nammakku.." from Nammavar and
his first association with ARR was in Bombay.. "Idhu Annai Bhoomi".

to all those who think that this group doesn't welcome criticism,

Ask yourself the question, were you really criticizing his music or were you
just plainly accusing that he hasn't been good lately ? those are two entirely
different things.

if you want to criticize, make it constructive. . pouring negativity in a mail
and putting a load of superlative words, your own definition of "true fan",
whatever, in to it to make it look like you have been loving him more than
yourself but AR rahman just betrayed you... is not what is called a
constructive
criticism.

But the fact is that you have been loving only yourself! You listen to his
music for your own pleasure. And when you think you can't be pleased with his
music because a certain style of music is not of your liking, you accuse him of
betraying you. Where I come from, we call it being selfish.

let's look at what you all have been accusing him of

1 - lost touch due to tours and live programs
2 - He didn't compose Puli's music but Ranjit Barot did.
3 - AR Rahman is now more into social networking and iPads than music.
4 - AR doesn't care about his fans
5 - AR Rahman used to make better music in his early days than now.

will any of these accusations help him improve his music or career ? a big fat
NO!

You all Guys acting like a bunch of Jagjit singh here , who dont know anything
more than one single style/genre of Music !!

If ARR had done couple of Roja , Swadesh or Jodha akbar then everyone would
have
been disturbed by him ...

Take a look at himesh ..his Ashiq banaya apne was good ..but what he did after
that ? Dozens of Ashiq banaya apne !! Almost everyone was disturbed by him , he

Do
you want ARR to be like that ?

Please stop acting like a Jagjit Singh , it's quite pathetic !! Be a mature
music listener , that is what ARR wants us to be

That is why he said > "I dont make such music what listeners want to listen , I
make such music what they NEED to listen"

Sorry for being harsh , couldnt stop myself from writing this, after getting
these kind of mails !! ARR been trying to produce mature music listeners for

Re: [arr] Kizhakku Chemayile - BGM with video

2010-07-20 Thread theepr
Thanks 'Liku' for a quality share...its great

(doesn't it looks like the flute interlude in "oda kara maarimuthu" from
"Indira")

How about Swarnalatha's humming BGM? (there are two different)

My humble request to(I'll beg U) rip all the BGMs of this and share with us,
seems U r owning a very good quality DVD. I have a pyramid one, Not this much
clarity...

by the way I wonder why this much late for Express on these BGMS...
I don't forget to listen BGMs of Kizhakku cheemayile and Uhzavan a single day.
