CWG is hosted not to promote sports but with the main intention of promoting several persons Swiss accounts further.you (the govt) have not even provided the basic amenities to encourage budding sports people so ,where do you have world class atheletes here, fit to compete in the international arena. OK we shall leave it at that and regarding ARR's theme song considered to be mediocre , let me make it very clear that ARR was asked to do it hoping to add some crediblity for this tainted exercise . I believe the purpose is more than achieved and the money spent is worth every penny.Only ARR can command so much of attention for a song and not any Tom Dick or Harry who are producing cacophony in the name of music. So folks why bother about some persons with zero crediblity. RELAX an Indian & ARR fan RELAX!

PLEASE for GOD'S sake try to avoid immature,unfair criticism on ARR'S mostly brilliant repertoire till now. To keep on posting only to start a debate or just to seek a few peoples attention ,has become a habit with some so called music lovers.You are entitled to your opinion, you have all the right to express it but ,people who are sane and occupied with some useful work may not have all the time to indulge in such absurd debates. Somebody trying to degrade a splendid musical masterpiece [what ever it is] approved and celebrated by the majority including many noted critics all over the world,only expose themselves as a sick clown. ARR is not a GOD,nor a complete authority in music to turn every attempt of his into gold.Nevertheless ,he has proved time and again as an absolute genius . His work is unarguably a league apart,eminently superior than his counterparts as well as his predecessors.The biggest problem with us is,we tend to pull down a person who is successful beyond a certain extent ,for no reason.If we were to name a few extremely talented persons who have extensive international recognition,in all categories,ARR will be in the fore front.Moreover that list is absolutely short as you can find only a very few in this country.Indians who have achieved tremendously by innovating, recognized by highest forums like NOBEL committee, have been NRI's mostly.This country has little place for real achievers, be it sports or science.A SACHIN or ARR happen very rarely. If you are not satisfied with people like them,fine ,you should be a genius ,so kindly spare them and allow them to stay here and bring more laurels to this country. Hi! again i"am here,as some music heavyweights are lamenting about the inferior score for this kolly.tolly&bollywood robot by ARR when compared to some of the hollywood robots.YES IT IS TRUE. Western robots had a whale of time prancing &dancing with julia roberts,angelinajolie etc, to the trendy innovative tunes set by john williams,jerrygoldsmith,hanszimmer &co.I suggest the music heavy weight to please post about the extraordinary award winning hollywood ROBOT soundtracks he has been in awe with, and enlighten us. Arguments &clarifications apart please understand that after R.D.BURMAN as far as INDIA is concerned, the only M-D to have been widely accepted from kashmir to kanyakumar&gujarat to sikkim is ,you know it silly!our M-D has many times more reach than RD BURMAN QUANTITATIVELY AS WELL AS QUALITATIVELY.This is strictly speaking within INDIA only and ARR"S international reach is there for everybody to see.Our own ex maestro could not go beyond vindhyas ,leave alone crossing the bay of bengal or arabian sea.The symphony which was created amidst a lot of fanfare & hype has never seen the light till date.SEE,if that is the case of this great maestro [at least he has some decent music[ somewhat original]to his credit, the present MD"s are just glorified extras or replica"s of-[WHOM] YOU KNOW SILLY!THE ONLY M-D who has handled and directed almost all the top line classical musicians of this country, THE ONLY M-D who has received countless prestigious national&international awards, THE ONLY M-D who was asked to write music for a west end musical by another knighted musical legend,THE ONLY M-D who is being pursued by almost every movie director of this country,THE ONLY M-D who has a place among TIME magazine"s all time top10 movie soundtracks with his maiden movie score,and above all THE ONLY M-D whose albums are being anticipated and received with a frenzied devotion &joy and my GOD! the most important one i have omitted, THE ONLY M-D,NO,THE ONLY MOST SUCCESSFUL PERSON WITH THE LEAST OR NO EGO AT ALL AND WITH MANY UNBELIEVABLE SAINTLY QUALITIES is the one and only M-D_ WE ADORE AND LOOK FORWARD TO SHARE MANY MORE MUSICAL BLISSFUL YEARS TO COME. It is really sad and amusing as well, to see some self proclaimed - -genuine arr fans under the garb of music heavyweights,trying to analyse an album which cannot be fathomed in a few listenings [for that matter most of arr"s albums] and in that process making themselves into a laughing stock.please avoid stupid comparisons and try not to expose your immaturity. you should understand about arr the man atleast to some extent, the amount of research & time that he puts in for a song, even for stupid mundane situations [mostly] that abounds in plenty from our directors.Please tell me where on earth except here, do you have a robot singing a duet, a bride and her consorts breaking into a song in the streets etc etc.It is for everybody to see the magnitude of critical acclaim this man is receiving for the past 18 years all over the world even from seasoned hardcore music critics and experts as well. we should all feel proud about this and should motivate him in our own small way to come out with many more musical masterpieces.Please do avoid all these childish bed wettings at least hereafter. Let your criticism or whatever it is, be a little mature. I"am afraid about this group becoming into another run of the mill sites scattered all over. thank you .
