Re: [arr] where is sukhwinder?????????
If ARR has not introduced Sukhi some other music director would have done that same way if sukhi has not sung JAI HO some other singer would have sung that..even ARR could have.. who knows.. The Song won the award because of the tune,music... not because of Sukhi or Gulzar...i don't think academy members know hindi to understand the Lyrics.. So the credit for JAI HO's win should go to ARR only... Gulzar won because he was part of it.. if any other lyricsist would have written the song they would be the winner now.. just my thaught.. not offending Sukhi or gulzar.. --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, Leslie D wrote: > > Sukhi is not here because of Rahman. Hi Ramanand, You are absolutely right, that song was picturised at Chalakudi, Kerala, where in so many songs have been picturised earlier, Mani made it look loke Srilanka.. thats what he does always.. --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, "J Ramanand" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi Durba, > > I may be completely wrong here, but it could just be a set that was > put up for the song.
