Re: [arr] SAD abt ENDHIRAN songs
Hi Fameeb, well "one mans meat another mans poison" i love the songs and i cant stop hearing them. i think this is Rahmans greatest effort in recent times and boy you should listen in a system that can produce the scale and the emotion. if you listen in your car or a mini combo then i am sorry to say you dont know what you are missing friend. i luv them all. there are time l liked some of Rahman's work but the recording is crap and thus the effort is wasted but Robot is pure magic whether you take performance or recording! ariff --- On Thu, 8/26/10, raj wrote: From: raj Subject: Re: [arr] SAD abt ENDHIRAN songs To: arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com Date: Thursday, August 26, 2010, 7:24 PM atlast some good sense of humour from KP.. good one :) --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, kishore parayath wrote: > > Hello sir... Re: [arr] All that Jazz - Vennila Vennila from Iruvar
Yea, i can say its an excellent song very well performed and most importantly well recorded. micro to macro dynamics are jaw dropping! sadly most of Rahmans fan do not listen to his albums in a good highend system and if they do they would know what i meant by good recording. sadly not all are that great. like Connections and some recent ones are so badly recorded that you just cannot play in a good system.there is too much overloading and the recording engineers are to be blamed. Rahman should follow what Cat Stevens do whenever he releases an album before the days of Yusof Islam. he listens to his work on his home highend audiophile system and boy of boy his albums are of refrence quality and listed in albums to die for. i have a collection of all Rahamans albums and quiet some are of great recording and WOHAE is used by audiophiles to test their systems . i really wish Rahman realises the importance of quality recordings(engineering) as much as the effort he puts in creating the music. all the best ariff --- On Thu, 9/24/09, manoj kumar wrote: From: manoj kumar Subject: [arr] All that Jazz - Vennila Vennila from Iruvar To: arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com Date: Thursday, September 24, 2009, 8:13 PM I happened to read this blog post today through Digg http://www.musicque ncher.com/ blog/2009/ 09/25/all- that-jazz- vennila-vennila/ Yahoo! dear Roger, would love to have this guys number regards ariff Roger wrote: Guys, I agree with you that in Malaysia hindi CDs are difficult to get especially originals. I'm not sure how many of us notice that even tamil cd's sell by Veenai/Five star(with combo of other films) have a poor sound quality compared to India version. I have notice this from Sivaji, when i have both (Malaysia and india) version but the india version sounds really good. I alwys buy ARR original cd from my friend who works in audio shop at Jalan Ipoh. If you guys need the contact..drop me an email and i will give you his number. currently i have purchase delhi 6 and SDM from him. You need to book first before he can deliver the cd because there are quite numbers of Rahmaniacs in KL and selangor buy from him. atm was created to strike chord with the masses whilst JA was created for the elite. thats why ATM was a success in audio sales. ariff "Triply R." <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Not sure who this was addressed to, but obviously being the guy who dissed ATM and said JA and MP were good, I assume it is addressed to me! Well, for one, yup, you can say I am super ignorant since I still feel ATM sucked. It may have gotten better reviews than JA but heck, every review is just an opinion. The original email was that JA was another MP and we should enjoy ATM instead, implying that JA was bad and MP was bad and ATM was good. I felt otherwise and I have said so. You can chalk me saying that no one remembers ATM now to being super ignorant, but there is no denying the fact that once the movie tanked very little was written even about the audio. In a sense it is similar to MP, once the movie tanked the music was never heard of again. But, just like I still love MP, more than so called "better" Rahman albums, I guess some people do prefer ATM. I consent that but I was responding to the flavour of the original post, which in essence was like "this sucks". I just said "no, THIS sucks"!!. Once the "facts" are presented, I consent that you are right, but only insofar as that ATM was a hit album. The music still sucks and not one song is worth it. Quite unlike MP, where everything rocked, with the exception of maybe one song, which could have been better. Triply.
