Re: [arr] Why CWG Theme Song was also not in English Version ???

Hindi is not India's national language.. It is one of the official languages
along with English but Hindi being the primary and the latter the secondary..
Below is one of the many sources..

Re: [arr] REMEBER MAARICHAM (JOK) ??

2010-08-12 Thread shahul_555
I was not much impressed by Maaricham and Machakaari of JOK/SOK. Or may be they
are not of my type of liking. Except for the portion where the husky female
voice calls 'Gowtham Gowtham' it didnt really hook me. Apart from the hot favs.
Munbe Vaa and Newyork nagaram, I loved the title track by Tanvi for the Jazz
and Tanvi's varied singing.

Though its off-topic, I have always felt Newyork nagaram could have been
picturized much better. Surya doesnt do full justice to the song. I expected
pain and agony to be emoted on screen as the song itself is for the situation
where the hero is away from the heroine. But the video shows Surya singing the
song with gentle smile throughout sporting designer costumes. I feel Madhavan
would have done a better job. For instance in the film 'Minnale' he had done a
commendable job in the song 'Venmadhi venmadhi nillu' and also in the song
'Yevano oruvan' from 'Alaipayuthey'.
