Valayapatti 10/10 one of the most experiemental songs i've heard...folk and carnatic!!!. ..mixed with many, many other genres in between...it sounds bizzare at times but that's a very good thing..ARR is expanding out musical horizons 4. Kelamal 10/10 the vocals are fantastic... it's one of those epic romantic tracks and has a club feel as wellreally powerful stuff 5. nee marilyn monroe 10/10 has a funk groove that hasn't been heard in indian music...pretty much a terrific rb song 6. elapoguzhum 8.5/10 i don't liek this one as much as eveyrone else..i still like it a lot thoughhas a similar vibe to the titile track from Ah Aah...but it evolves into something else as it goes on..i love the epic horns in the middle..and the last minute or so are jaw-droppingly good and take the song in unexpected directions Overall: 9.5/10 nobody can f*** with ARR! __ Do You Yahoo!? First word I spoke to him was ASSALAMU ALAIKKUM and he gently replied like WA ALAIKKUM-US- SALAAM. Then I said, WELCOME TO CHICAGO, SIR. Even the organizers are jealous about it; They mentioned atleast 10 times about it. After that only 5 giagantic cops other securities came into picture. Then only the organizer and his family presented him a Bouquet and invited him. All these things are recorded photos are available. I'll show you the proof for all these once the official photographer completes his work. I couldn't take any photo with our BOSS as nobody was there to take photo for me; and also our BOSS requested NO PHOTOS, PLEASE..!.. So I couldn't break his request. THANKS GREETINGS LETTER to our BOSS He had to wait for 5 mins at the airport as there was a delay in getting LIMO CAR to the Airport-arrival's place. He didn't say anything; he simply waited. During this waiting time, I was chatting with our BOSS and told him that I'm from ARR Fan's club and everything. I spoke to him in TAMIL only. Rahmaniac (Suresh)'s friend Shyam has given me THANKS GREETINGS letter to be handed over to our BOSS. I explained our BOSS about his letter and given that letter. He collected it from me; gone through it and kept in his hand baggage. And then smiled at me... Then LIMO arrived and our BOSS got in to the car. As soon as he got into car, he called his mom as MAA., thats it. She also got into it. Followed by 5 cops and organizers. They are Srinivasa Iyer, Blaaze, Naveen, Aslam and few more. Cops / security was given to only few VIPs. A 30 minute Piano Concert by Rahman Sir along with the Vocals n Guitarist Rashid Ali was the Show's Highlight. The most special n unforgettable incident was I set the Mic. for Rahman Sir..!! It was my dream to set the Mic. for the Greatest Musician in India. Dear friends.. really I'm not gettin' words to explain it.. He's Simply the Best.. No Doubt.. I was the inchief to set up the Mics. When he was performin', I watched him closer than anybody other than the Artists. The vocals were two females: One blind girl, after that a mentally disabled girl.. First gal sung two English tracks of Rahman from Bombay Dreams n the second gal performed Uyire song n Jiya jale.. It was Awesome..!! Rahman with Piano n Rashid Ali with Guitar..!! I got many advises from Sivakumar Sir 2 set the Mics. accordin' to Rahman Sir's taste.. Those were the most valuable advises about the Miking Techniques I got. Another thing is,by the Almighty's Grace I was only one to get Rahman Sir's Autograph after the Program..! Just before Sir was 'attacked' by the Media Persons n Cameras, I got the [Most Precious] Autograph from Him.. He left the stage in a hurry after the press meet n lot of the Fans were dissappointed. . That was so sad.. my friends.. Then, I met Blaaze n thanked him 4 the Lyrics of Our Song 'PRAY FOR ME BROTHER'. He is a simple man.. I also met Naresh n Rashid Ali.. Really..
