Re: [arr] AR's voice in Omana Penne (CD version)

2010-03-10 Thread KJ
Thank you for the detailed inputs theep. I tried a comparative listening to
all the songs/and albums you mentioned above. I did find those similarities
you mentioned, it was quite interesting to know how ARR uses such sequences
in different manners to fit the mood and melody of a song. He is a true
genius.

ya.obviously also in "hey" 4:57 loops... it is all happens bcos of our boss not
leaving any of tracks he records useless he mix it up and give the best he can.

this kind of thing also visible in, ADA the interlude come in 3:13 of "Tu mera
Hai" is also used in "Dil gira gafatun" in Delhi 6.

Back groud scoring of "Elai" from "Sakkarakati" also feature in
"Aaj Dil" from "Blue"

"ATM" BGM features in "Slumdog Millionaire"

I just watched "VTV" today and strongly feel "dreams of fire" from "SDM"
beginning part used in the for one of the BGM.

I can hear AR's voice in Omana Penne (CD version) in two places. That is the
part that goes "OooH" moments before the chorus starts. 0.50-0.52 and
3.21-.3.23(more audible here). What you guys think? Is it just me or you guys
can hear it too?

The metallic nature of his voice is his special highlight and strength. Its
the same as of now, as it was when he first sang " yelelo" in the interlude
of Chinna Chinna aasai

[arr] AR's voice

2008-12-26 Thread rayrai2k
Hi,
I find his voice is the most unique and while he sings it sounds like
somebody singing in his twenty's. Also the range is quiet unique.
Another friend on mine had once said if theres any other who matches
that range was Micheal Jackson.
While listening to Jiya Se Jiya & O Saaya his voice sounds very fresh
and young.

Could somebody add more of your thoughts
