Re: [arr] Doubts

2008-08-05 Thread rayrai2k
Music is the combination of 7 notes. what makes it distinct is the
layered interpolation and arrangements for a song.
There are no music directors who have set a new form what they have
done is adapted the worldly styles. Nobody wrote a format for Jazz or
Rock they evolved either from folk or traditional styles of music.
Fusion music is a better example of recent times.
AR set a breakthrough in Indian cinemas by introducing a new
composition style and work flow. He revolutionized the music by
inducing special sounds which his predecessors had never tried. Its
very easy to say that Kabhi kabhi resembles Alaipayuthey song.
Question him to explain and ask him to write the guitar tabs they are
absolutely different. Whats common is the sound, not at all the notes.
Sound in a proper note makes it music and every combination of notes
makes it distinct. Now when notes are different how come they are
same they can sound ("SOUND") similar.
Hope you can strike back to your friend with this. But why waste
energy & time arguing, better listen to AR's songs with utmost
concentration you will be carried to a magical world of pure joy and
peace and that what is being done by every AR's fan. You are welcome
as well in this world.

Hi Gomzy,
Plz don't get excited. It was just out of curiosity that I
raised these doubts. In fact, I get frustrated when ppl ask me the same
questions. I always argue with ppl that only ARR's music is unique. Then
they come back with these points. Thats y, I wanted to get these clarified
so that I can reply to their questions. One day, a friend of mine was saying
that their is nothing so special about Kabhi Kabhi song as it resembles a
song from Alaipayuthey. Then even I got disappointed. So i raised this
concern. Please don't misunderstand me. I really feel sorry if it had hurt
anyone's feeling.
