[arr] Fw: Abbas Tyrewala on JTYJN Rahman
Check outBoys in Hindi??? Wo... Boys is one of my fav albums..Lyrics..Music..everything is top notch and I am sure that in hindi it would be equally amazing... I remember when the boys was released..I was in college, I used to sit down and translate ennaku oru girlfriend song into hindi...Lets hope and pray that it comes out soon.. --- On Wed, 6/25/08, $ Pavan Kumar $ [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: From: $ Pavan Kumar $ [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Abbas Tyrewala on JTYJN Rahman To: arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com Date: Wednesday, June 25, 2008, 2:23 AM 'Rahman told me that until he worked with me, he thought Aamir was the most difficult person to work with' This is the first time you have worked with AR Rahman. How was that experience? You said somewhere that you had to spend long hours waiting for him in Chennai hotels. Oh yes. Both of us had some hard times. He told me that until he worked with me, he thought Aamir was the most difficult person to work with but I was worse than Aamir! At the end of the film, he gifted me a perfume called Unforgivable. So I joked to him that he gave me this perfume because he could not find one called 'Unbearable'. But the truth of the journey is that when you reach the end, you want to go for a journey with that person all over again. So after the film, Rahman told me that he was remaking Tamil film, Boyz, and he wanted me to write the music. That says it all. Normally, when you work with a music director, you just land up at the studio at the scheduled time. But if you have to go to Chennai -- where you have no friends or family -- it becomes a long wait. So it becomes a little difficult. This and More about the movie...Its here.. http://specials.rediff.com/movies/2008/jun/24video2.htm (Both Video and Text)

Hindi guys have not heard Tamil music of boys, so we will not have any problem. For us, it will be first time music. Hmm, Bilinguals might not be as eager to wait for dubbed music. If Abbas is writing lyrics, he is not a dubbing guy like PK MIshra or Mehboob, so is there any possibility that Hindi boys will have altogether new music, or at least re-touched music with new lyrics, not just dubbed music? If so, then Hindi music for it will certainly be better than Tamil music as ARR has gained even more experience during the year(s) and if he is producing than he will go that extra mile, no stone unturned. Sadly, that will disappoint those guys who were wishing that ARR gives his best in Tamil. Could anyone give a quick recap of boys storyline, tracklist, song situations, etc. please? Who wrote Tamil lyrics for it? -- V
