I just got to listen to PROVOKED songs. I'm just stuck with the 'Shillong..' track. And i'm surprised at Dian's remark. This track carries the distinct stamp of AR Rahman...the exclusive 'world music genre' where there is a confluence of all music genres. One need to really listen closely to this track to discover the various 'layers' as with any AR Rahman song. This song has a sort of naughty energy built into it...discover that and you will be titillated. Guys awesome...dont miss this track. By the way...am getting ready for the concert at Atlanta on May 27...section 109/110. Dear Rahmaniacs, My quest to find the Shillong Shillong track has come to an end. Out of the blue.. Guess, who contacts me.. the Manager of Karen David. He is sending me a CD full of Karen David's track including the Shillong Shillong track. Rahmaniacs, I am surprised nobody seem to be discussing about Carry Me Home and Alive (from the forthcoming movie Provoked) by Karen David and ARR... recently there was a posting by a member (sorry forgot the name) that these two songs are available at http://www.karendavid.com All this time as she is a UK artist I have looked at all most every music store for Shillong Shillong and Carry Me Home even at her website it was not avaiable... but now it is... (but NOT Shillong Shillong) needless to say, but guys its worth it... listen to it.. Has it been released - recently i have heard a music in the album - The English Version of " Chole Ke Peeche Kya Hai" and it was beautifully and wonderfully done and i have gone completely crazy.
