Re: [arr] Masakalli English Translation

2009-01-06 Thread light4_u
I came to know about pigeon name 'matakkalli' from lyrics only. No it
does not say 'eh masakali fly like matakali'. Lyrics r 'eh masakalli
masakalli udd matakali matakali' its not 'eh masakalli masakalli udd
JESE matakali matakali. Matak means 'pelvic thrust' (latak-matak
chalna). U missed 'Atdise mud'. 'Atdise mud' means turn around with
an attitude (atadi dekhana, giving attitude).

Regards.

Yes, It is the name of the pigeon if you follow the song along
with lyrics you will come to know that it is describing about the
pigeon. What do you mean by 'Matakali'? Lyrics goes on like this:
Eh Masakali fly like Matakali. Please flatter your wings and let
the dust go away. Fly in every tribal corners of the city. Fly and
fulfil your wishes. Meet the air and fly in style, you are the king
in air (not exactly the King, heera panna means precious stone). Eh
Masakali fly like Matakali. Please correct me and send in
proper English Translation.

I think that 'Masakalli' means 'Masti ki kalli' and 'Matakkalli'
means 'Matak ne wali kali'. And I also think that masakalli would
be
the name of the pigeon (sonam kapoor's pet in the movie). Plz don't
 laugh if I m wrong :).

Excellent song though and lyrics make it very interesting song. I
can't
stop myself from listenin it again and again and again... Our boss
never miss surprising us with unique songs and music.
