Re:[arr] Missing song from Jodha Akbar?
Dude Rawat ! yaa; missed to specify audio in complete stage. but why not scenes! & ashutosh cud ' ve removed due to length of movie. lets not conclude or under-estimate others ;-) beauty is not needed to share this info to press openly when she knows, whatever is spoken about Arr, to be uttered carefully & for arr with an unbeatable fan base worldwide, news on his every move spread at jet speeds. It is quite possible she would listened to that qawali number with ashutosh. If scenes are not shot, chances are to use the song for upcoming mani ratnam flick or rajeev menon's dhun or ashutosh may even use it for 'what is your raashi' ? if at all, only the lyrics need a change to the situation it demands or that may suit as well. We dont know exactly the status. Or if the scenes are shot & if ashutosh has decided not to include in later edition of dvds, still option is live & any of the new films of arr can have the song with fresh scenes shot. --- On Mon, 2/6/08, V S Rawat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: From: V S Rawat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [arr] Missing song from Jodha Akbar? Re: [arr] Missing song from Jodha Akbar?
K. thanks for sharing info. I had missed that post. If ARR deleted it (nor ashutosh) that might mean that the qawwali was still in music stage and didn't get shot at all. So it is still with rahman and we can hope him to use it in some other film. wud be glad a qawwali from him, Bombay's Kehna hi kya's qwwaali background beats were so great. -- Rawat On 5/31/2008 5:44 PM India Time, _Chord_ wrote: > As reported in India Abroad a few months back, Rahman admits to have > deleted a Qawali in the movie sung by Sonu Kakkad and Alka Yagnik. > > Post 92324 > > Hi Guys, > > The Qawalli song has been sung by Alka Yagnik and Sonu Kakkad[of > Babuji dheere chalo fame] and not Udit Narayan as reported in > Glamsham.com. > > BYE > > > > > > --- In arrahmanfans@yahoogroups.com, V S Rawat <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: >> On 5/31/2008 8:01 AM India Time, _Chord_ wrote: >> >>> Will we hear it on the upcoming DVD?
